If I could give ZERO stars I would. Customer service was awful, didn’t speak to me the whole time. Ordered $40 worth of food and get home and EVERYTHING is wrong, ALL the sides wrong, missing fries and large sides ….. this please is just ridiculous. Tried to call the number listed on google and of course, no one answers and it goes straight to voicemail, guess they don’t want to hear about all the people that are complaining about their food! Finally got in touch with customer service, she was somewhat helping but still could not find a way to get me in contact with the actual store. The lady even said that the location was pulling up on her list of Popeyes locations. Odd….we were the ONLY ppl in the drive through, that should have been a clue that this store has screwed so many ppl that guest just quit coming. The rude lady handed us our bag through the window of the drive thru and it was basically falling out the top of the bag, I Guess they could not afford to use two bags like it should’ve been placed in the beginning. I’m not usually one to complain, but as we were driving off, my wife said, let me check the order before we leave and with confidence, I said there’s no need to do so because I could visibly see the large sides and two meals that we ordered, little did I know that EVERYTHING except for the chicken is wrong. I guess the ppl in the kitchen can not read an order when it is typed in the system, because the Receipt has everything listed as I ordered, but it seems like the remedial kitchen staff just grabbed whatever they could find and shoved it in the bag, when I asked the remedial lady who handed me the bag if everything was in one bag. Guess what…. SHE DIDNT TALK! Of course! So I grabbed the bag with items almost falling out the top and made our way home. Hard to believe that whoever owns this particular location trust all the remedial staff with the store. At this rate, it can’t last much longer. Good luck, and in my opinion, drive about a mile up the road and go to Zaxbys or BK and get your fast food fix, because overall, this Popeyes...
Read moreI haven't been here in over 2 years and am amazed they are still in business but that being said my most recent experience wasn't that bad. The food was tasty and the wait wasn't as bad as I expected but that's in some part due to me coming at 620 pm on a Sunday. Before waiting at the drive thru we tried to go inside to order but the doors were locked which seemed odd to me especially since there was one couple inside dining. No big deal we will just go through the drive thru. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty cool but the service makes the atmosphere lower than it should be. I waited a total of 15 minutes since there was 1 car ahead of me in the drive through. After the car in front of me took about 10 minutes to order I pulled up to the order speaker only to be met with silence for 5 minutes. Once the worker took our order we discovered they were out of cole slaw so we went with the sides we assumed they would have - mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. After getting to the pick up window I saw a manager working who said he was very tired. I felt bad for the guy so that's why I'm not giving this place 1 star. The food was rather tasty albeit the Mac and cheese cup was half full and didn't have a proper lid on top but rather a soda cup plastic top haphazardly put on top. Oh well. I can say this Popeyes while slow and inefficient still serves reasonably good food.

I went to the Buford Popeyes location on Friday the 22nd to pick up my Cajun turkey that I ordered on November 8th. The individual that assisted me told me that the store does not get their online orders and that she had already given out all of the turkeys for the day and that she would have to call around to other stores to try to find me another one. She said that they do not get the online orders in the store and that someone else gets them and then delivers the turkeys to them. I asked her for the management or owners name or the general manager's name and she would not give it to me. She told me to stop being smart with her, when I was just trying to understand how they do not get the orders and who to contact. She told me to come back later and she would call him. I called later in the day and she told me there was a 2 page list of people who they were trying to find turkeys for. Still refused to give me the managers name etc. I went online and found that the company that owns this location is Funky Chicken LLC. I contacted them through Facebook, and after numerous messages back and forth, I finally picked up my turkey today. Tuesday - 2 days before Thanksgiving. A turkey that needs 3 days to thaw.
