I purchased the PS5 from Walmart's website before Christmas. I looked inside just to make sure the game was actually in there and then hid it in my room. I guess that was my first mistake. I guess I should have turned it on first. Because, when my son opened the box on Christmas and plugged in the machine it has said it was overheated since day one. On Monday I called this company and was told that they cannot help me because it is past their date for assisting. I explained that we opened it on Christmas and I called the first business day after Christmas and they should assist me because this is a $1000 purchase but, they told me to contact Playstation who they have a 'great' working relationship with. Well, Playstation does not have customer service for PS5 unless you have the VR sysytem. They have an automated self-service system on their site that kept kicking me back to the main support page. I have no idea what to do except to wait for Walmart to do an investigation but, in the meantime my son does not have his gift and I have more stress because of their refusal to address the problem. I ordered by mistake 2- PS5 bundles and didnât notice It until a few weeks later. I made a police report and Iâve been in constant contact with all 3 parties. Walmart told me theyâre not responsible because they didnât get paid for the item, but pro Electronics is using Walmarts platform to sale so Walmart should respond for theyâre 3rd party venders. Pro ElectrĂłnica only tells me to contact Walmart and walmart tells me itâs pro Electronics and UPS that have yo resolve my issue. Iâve been bounced from Walmart to pro electronics to UPS and nobody want to be responsible for my missing package. Pro Electronics told me they had made a claim to UPS for my order and UPS stated thereâs no record at all of any claim for that package. Found a substantially better deal elsewhere and initiated a return. The box showed up and I affixed the return label without even breaking the shipping tape. Got a refund. In may I received an email indicating my return was being canceled because the seller claimed the serial number of the item returned did not match the item shipped which was impossible as I had never opened any box. The transactionw as rejected by my bank and the card closed. Now it's July and I've been charged again via the same debit card, meaning pains were taken to circumvent the card status, and I've had to file a fraud claim via my bank.
