Highline School District Transportation — Local services in Burien

Bues are never on time, they are always late and when you are 5 minutes late, they take off with your kid and not call you to tell you, I tried calling to tell them I was running late do to accident on the freeway, nobody answer me and when I called again when I got to the bus, the bus driver took of with my 4 year old, I asked for them to tell me the next bus stop the bus driver was going to take and the wouldn't tell me, the operator was rude and unprofessional and told me I had to wait 50 minutes for the driver to bring my daughter back to her bus stop, this has me terrified because I don't trust this bus driver's what what I seen on the news and for them to not tell me where my daughter...

As a former school bus driver and currently driving a semi truck, all I can say is that I'm very happy that the bus didn't have any kids onboard. The driver cut me off instead of waiting a few seconds longer and getting into traffic behind me. I'm also glad I was empty iti couldn't have stopped fast enough to keep from hitting them. I'm use to cars doing this stupid stuff but a school bus? Those kids on my bus were MY kids and I took their safety personally. This driver could have cared less about anything other than trying to save a few seconds in what could have been numerous serious injuries if...

not okay with my daughter waiting 50 minutes plus at 7am to get picked up by the bus that “missed” her. Absolutely not okay for staff to make the 12 year old feel like it was her fault because she was late for the bus.. bus pick up is at 7:11. She was there at 6:55. Why? Because she had a whole speech the night before about how the bus might be a little early or late so she needs to be there early just in case.

When I call transportation for clarification the guy needs to listen to what the caller has to say, not speak over me constantly.
