On Sunday, September 6, 2025, I had an absolutely delightful experience at Normandy Teriyaki in Normandy Park. From the moment I walked through the door, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. The restaurant was buzzing with a lively yet cozy vibe, with cheerful decor and a clean, welcoming space that made me feel right at home.
The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and exceptional friendliness, making the ordering process a breeze. I opted for the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, priced at an incredibly reasonable $8.99, and added a Boba milk tea to my order. The service was impressively quick, and my food arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully presented within minutes.
The Chicken Teriyaki was nothing short of phenomenal. The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender, and coated in a glossy, flavorful teriyaki sauce that struck the ideal balance of sweet and savory. The portion was generous, served with fluffy rice and crisp, fresh vegetables that added a delightful crunch. Every bite was a burst of flavor, showcasing the care and quality put into the dish. The Boba milk tea was equally impressive—refreshing, perfectly sweetened, and with just the right amount of chewy tapioca pearls.
What stood out just as much as the food was the impeccable service. The staff checked in to ensure everything was to my satisfaction, and their enthusiasm for their work was contagious. The restaurant itself was spotless, from the dining area to the bathrooms, which added to the overall pleasant experience.
Normandy Teriyaki is clearly a gem in Normandy Park. The combination of delicious, affordable food, a fun and inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service made my visit truly memorable. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to try their spicy teriyaki and shrimp tempura roll! If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit spot for a satisfying and...
Read moreI see a lot of negative reviews and after ordering here multiple times I can see why. Its not because the food is disgusting, because actually it is really good for 95% of the dishes i tried. The problem is there are a couple staple dishes done by every single teriyaki joint around that are standard heavily americanized dishes. I noticed there are a couple of the these dishes at normandy teriyaki that use an ingredient that is not standard in American pallets instead and will definitely throw you off. Brown rice vinegar. It is very rarely used and adds a bit of acidity, and (to an standard American pallet)… funk. I noticed it is used a little heavily In red meat dishes like the teriyaki beef with too little sugar and a tad bit to much salt imbalancing the flavor gives it a weird funky salty taste instead of savory. I ordered 1/3 of the menu over the last month and that was the one and only main dish I could say made me pause. However everything else was delicious and inexpensive compared to everyone else, I especially like that they don’t also season the white rice, as it drastically lowers the over all salt content of the meal. It’s cheap overall great food and open late. Small issue definitely being blown out of the...

I don't understand how this place still has customers. THE REVIEWS ARE SO TRUE!!! Click on newest reviews and you will see. I was told my order of house honey garlic chicken(no honey please) and steamed veggies would be ready in 45 min. That seemed crazy but ok. I went in 45 min later, no one called and said it was ready as I saw it sitting on the counter when I walked in. My partner asked how long was it sitting here and Mulan said "oh about 5 min". When I got home not even 3 min later I open it to this. Honey on my chicken and rice under my veggies like they remembered at the last min. OMG if they get shut down, it's cus of so many reports of food poisoning cus the food was not warm at all. I only tried this place cus I thought I'd give it a chance (and I was too hungry to cook after a long day of work on Easter). So I'm throwing my food away that my boyfriend bought me and warned me would be the worst I ever had. Living and learning. Only 30 min after eating the food and I feel like I'm gonna be sick. Just don't eat here. I guess they were exposed selling TV dinner Chinese food. So they scoop it out of the packaging and put it in...
