It’s a bit off the beaten path of I-35, but soooo worth the trip! All artists who work here are talented, respectful, and can make you something beautiful. The shop is clean, awesomely decorated and feels much more like an “art” space than some other shops I have been to. You won’t see walls and walls of flash, but you will see original artwork by the artists all over the place!

I have personally worked with Josh (aka @Texasvandal on Instagram) multiple times and he has an incredibly light hand, solid straight lines, and he packs the color in! I have received multiple compliments on both of the tattoos he has done for me. And he’s always willing to work with you on refreshers or touch ups if you feel the need. He has a great eye, is magnificently talented in his original designs, and can definitely work with your ideas to create a lasting piece that you will love forever. He’s an all around great guy and artist, and I highly highly recommend him! But honestly, you can’t go wrong with any artist at this shop because they really only employ talented people who care about the art they put on your skin.

Today I was tattooed by Josh! He did a large thigh piece for me, a bright color heavy Dennis Rodman tattoo. The work is incredible. I am over the moon excited! I was super attracted to Josh’s use of color, so I reached out to him about this piece. From start to finish it was a top notch experience. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and after sending my deposit, I was able to book the day that worked best for me. I gave him artist freedom in regard to design and was so happy with the outcome, we made zero changes. Today was my first visit to the shop and the entire staff made me feel super comfortable. I was greeted by everyone, the other artists were equally as kind and welcoming as Josh, and they just made the 8 hours I spent with them a really fantastic experience. The shop is super beautiful! Very clean and clearly takes the current state of the world (covid) very seriously. The artists and all clients were masked at all times and there was lots of access to sanitizer, which I saw them constantly using. They keep snacks and drinks on hand for clients, the chairs are comfy, the company is awesome, and the artwork is FANTASTIC. I have super high standards to businesses, but especially tattoo shops. I went in today go see Josh for a custom piece of an adorable kitty. After viewing countless images of his work I decided I wanted to move forward with booking an appointment. First off I have major anxiety so going to a new place alone was already a little bit of a challenge for myself. Upon arriving to the shop and entering the shop my anxiety slowly abated as the shop in itself was very clean, stylish, and welcoming. Next were the staff, all of them were very kind and I felt completely comfortable. One thing I’ve always had issues with is not feeling 100% relaxed during a tattoo and not feeling that way was enough for me to know I’d definitely be returning (a lot)! Now on to the actual tattoo, I was very confident on Josh’s skills with colors and tattooing based off the work I had seen on Facebook. What I didn’t know was that it is so much more than what we view on our devices. The time and effort he puts into his work shows. Not to mention he’s extremely light handed so if you’re sensitive I’d definitely recommend him.
