My husband and I go to the Cassia County Fair every year! I was a little surprised by all the bad reviews. We drive from Utah every year to attend the fair because we love it! If you want to enjoy your time at the fair:
Twisted ankle in the parking lot of the carnival side, hole in the ground. 2 attendants saw me go down but did not come to help. A fair goer helped me stand. Ankle started to swell, hobbled with help to the office. No medic. Gave me ice after I asked. No further assistance. Hobbled from carnival all the way to the main gate office, no medic. God forbid someone has a heart attack here because you would get no help until 911 arrived. First and last time I will attend this fair. Multiple employees with transport and not one offered any assistance. The female police officer turned to my daughter and said, well she can go get your car. She does not know Burley so no she can not go get the car. So disappointed tonight. It was suppose to be a fun night and could have been if only someone had offered even the smallest gesture of kindness (minus the very nice lady that helped me to stand and see if my ankle was...

Parking is convenient and I really appreciate that there is no entry fee-- this is great because my family and I like to go for dinner a couple nights when the fair is in town to sample items we don't normally get otherwise. If there were an entry/gate fee like there is at the Twin Falls County Fair, it would be too costly to do this more than one day. To me, it is a win-win for the fair merchants and the community. I also love that the rides/midway is in a separate section, which makes it easy to get around and locate the attractions you want to see and experience, yet also convenient to skip the ones you don't. There is a good variety of entertainment at reasonable cost such as rodeo and concerts, as well as the animal shows and market. All in all, this is a wonderful...
