We went out as a family 5-10-24 (the only night we were able to go out as a family due to a busy schedule) to watch the PG family oriented Christian movie “Unsung Hero” Only when we arrived we were told that no one under 18 was allowed to be in the VIP theatre as they just got new seating in there and they’re trying to “preserve” them, I asked “Not even if accompanied by an adult?” They said no, so we had to walk away. I feel that if it’s a PG, family oriented, and a Christian movie it needs to either be left in a theatre anyone and everyone can enjoy, or they need to allow anyone in regardless of age, after all if they’re worried about wear and tear on seating isn’t that what insurance is for? And if your going out on a date night and don’t want kids in the theatre your in, maybe they should have two showings of the same movies at the same time considering it is a PG, family oriented Christian movie. Pretty upset we had to walk away. I hope they come to better understanding and change this later. Couldn’t even enjoy what we were all waiting for. Went home and we all went to bed.

Very considerate staff, good prices, and good popcorn. Nice little theater recently renovated. Lines to get in are not long at all and the drinks and popcorn are listed at a good price. Worth the visit!

This is a basic cinema with comfortable seats that we visit sometimes when visiting family in Idaho. This is nice to have in Burley where you can watch a first rate movie at a decent price

On February 27, 2020 my wife and I attended Jumanji 2. It was a very slow night as there was only one other couple sitting in the audience. During the previews the picture quality was very blurry, so before the movie started I went and told the staff that the picture was out of focus and needed adjusted. I returned to my seat and the movie began, however the picture quality had not been fixed. After about 15 minutes a very nice employee approached us in our seats and very kindly explained that they are unable to fix the picture quality and they would be willing to offer us a refund if we left now, or if we wanted to stay they would give us passes to return again. My wife and I agreed to just stay and get the passes, since we had already hired a baby sitter and only get a date night like this maybe 3 times a year due to my work. We continued to watch the movie and a short time later a different female entered the theater and stood at the entrance (im assuming she is a manager) and yelled something that could not be understood so she walked closer to us and very loudly shouted, "If you stay through the entire movie I am not giving you a refund or passes." confused by this my wife motioned for the manager to come speak with her to get clarification, since that contradicted what we had just been told. (keep in mind, we had already hired a baby sitter for both our children, and my wife is 6 months pregnant.) The manager approached us and pointed her finger at my wife and yelled in a very condescending tone "I am not giving you passess if you stay through this entire movie." My wife then tried to explain that she didnt feel that was fair since we had already dedicated alot of time and money to watch this movie, however before she was able to explain her self, the manager cut her off and yelled the same phrase she already yelled at us previously. My wife (being pregnant) began to cry and I asked the manager if we could speak outside. My wife feeling so embarresed left the theater and I stayed to speak with the manager. She handed me passes and I explained our situation and told her I felt her behaviour was very unprofessional and rude. And instead of offering a sincere apology she offered an excuse of "I just have a loud voice and sound like im always yelling." Just felt like we were mistreated. I dont expect anything free or any handouts, I would just like a company to back up any service they provide. And if they cant do that, then they should try and make it right. Instead of making you feel like you are a...

Owner harrassed me in lobby. went to movies on Saturday night. I have physical disabilities that require a service animal. Bought tickets with a friend and went to stand in the popcorn line. The owner gets right in my face yelling at me that I cannot take my service dog into his theater. I explained my situation with my dog that I needed him to be able to walk. He just kept yelling at me over and over threatening to call the police; he also stated the federal law has changed and service dogs are not allowed on planes or in any kind of business any more. (I just flew on a plane the previous Sunday and Tuesday with my service dog) I finally got upset and stated I would not leave and instructed him to call 911 get the police there so he can be educated. By this time the entire lobby was staring, it was embarrassing and threatening and drew unnecessary attention to us. My friend and I were so upset that we did not enjoy the movie. I then made a formal complaint at the Burley Sheriff’s department against the owner as well as the theater for discrimination to persons with disabilities. Also I was advised to put in a formal complaint with Department of Justice to open an active case on harassment and refusal to accept persons with disabilities in a public place of business. The next step I was told to do was file a civil law suit for harassment. I will do this and go to court if the owner does this a second time. I have always brought my service dog with me into this theater with no issues. Trained service animals DO NOT pose a threat to anyone. THEY ARE TRAINED to help persons with physical and mental disabilities. This guy better get a clue and fast. He owns a business that serves the public. What he did is punishable by federal law with a fine into the thousands of dollars if the DOJ processes this incident to the...

HORRIBLE customer service. My family of four arrived 40 min early to make sure we got decent seats. The cashier even told us there were 100 seats available. Theater management allows customers to cut and push and because we weren’t ignorant and we were being patient all these young adults show up and start pushing their way to the front of the waiting line. Long story short by the time we were able to get into the theater all that was left were front seats which give me motion sickness. So we decided we would watch a different movie if available or ask for a credit for another day. The cashier girl said she needed to get the manager to get us a credit, but the guy that came up to us (maybe the owner) was so rude and condescending. His EXACT words were “are there still seats available or no”. He also tried to lie and say it was sold out and we kept others from seeing the movie which I know to be false. There is a way to speak to people with respect, however this guy wanted to fight. He was delighted to tell us no and that he didn’t care. I am so disappointed that in our small community where we have all rallied to keep these small business running in this pandemic, this is how we were treated. This guy did NOT CARE one way or another if he lost customers. I am a big believer in the Law of Attraction. What you put out in the world will come back. So because of how awful these people are, that is why my family and I will never go back. We would rather spend the extra time and money to go to Twin Falls or Pocatello**Just found out it WAS the owner. What a poor example to his employees...
