I have been coming to this Kroger since the day they open their doors. I'm guessing 10 years. I would have given it five stars for many years however over the past maybe two years it continuous decline. The gas station for example the air used to be free now they charge you. What's even worse I can never get a receipt it has been saying receipt failed for months. The actual grocery store while it is still better than say Lawrenceburg for example. The Hebron location has been declining. I have been to grocery stores All over America and I have always thought Krogers was tops. I don't know what's going on but I am disappointed every week now. They're either out of most of the items I want or the pricing has just gone through the roof. Covid covid covid I don't buy it. We have to stop blaming it on covert and start blaming it on greed. At the end of the day let's fix what we can like cleanliness, better service. And the gas station why can't they fix the receipt printers or put paper in them if a customer wanted to go to the window to get a receipt they could go to the window and pay. The whole purpose for pay at the pump is convenience pay get your receipt and go. Hey come on all the money that Kroger's is making you cannot have free air. I am so disappointed in you Kroger you were much better than this and you can be much better than this the...
Read moreMy last visit to this location was my attempt to get some things that aren't carried at another location about 12 miles away. The front desk, employees, etc., have become so defensive, argumentative AND rude. This along with the mismarked food, expired food, wrong prices, mistakes from their contracted IT (digital) ETC. is local joke. No one remembers customer service, or respectful appearance at work. No one values your time and choices so I'm hoping that many more competitors will move in and actually train their staff on how to treat someone spending their hard earned time and money. It is hard enough to not get run over by the day stockers and delivery/pickup people. Then you get to stand in line after line trying to get errors corrected, credit for over rings, proper digital discounts, after you have already spent hours planning menus, or a way to have an affordable meal. I also love how the location dictates gasoline savings, prices and of course you "have to download the app" to get any benefits. The burden should not be on the customer to have things to work. What a concept!? It should be on the CEO and the other greedy share holders! I'm sorry I even have to use...
Read moreThe primary reason for my review is due to the reduced quality in both produce and meats over the past 3 to 6 months. I’ve seen consistent poor quality with produce, especially lettuce where leaves are generally turning brown on the edges When we go to choose one. I’ve also purchased precut watermelon that was very far from fresh on the day of purchase. This happened on two different occasions. Recently, we purchased 2 pounds of ground beef. One of those packages was placed in our refrigerator overnight. The next morning, the beef was brown. Generally speaking, the Hebron Kroger used to be a top pick for us. However, over the past six months or so, the quality has really gone down hill on their fresh products. I’ve also talked to management about these concerns, and got a pretty strong impression they really did not care too much about my concerns. It’s a shame that one of the few quality grocery stores in the tri-state area is starting to show signs of poor quality in a...
