Review: Gordita + Guac&Chips (First Visit) I asked them if they make Mushroom Gordita & w/no cheese & he accommodated! They gave me two with crispy bread (not thick bread) & they are two whole ones. It hit the spot!😋 They gave 2 fresh slices of cucumbers & radish that were very fresh & delicious, too! Their guac is beautiful w/variety of ingredients. I’d call it a guac salsa or guac salad even maybe, bcz it’s not primarily guac. It’s fresh no salt or added flavors. They have a little salsa bar you can take a lil cup a salsa & now I know I love the habernera! 😋 not overwhelmingly spicy. Perfect paired with food. Their chips are not too thick, good crisp to them & very good! This will be my go~to spot for Gorditas! Going to try the soup next (I get broth, rice, pico, cilantro & xtra avacado & they said they can use vegetable broth for the vegans, instead of animal broth! ITheir food is more fresh, homemade & authentic AND their customer service is absolutely great!! Hard to find since Covid! Average food with below average service. On a Saturday evening, I ordered a carryout order online and selected that my order be brought to my car on their website. When I got there I waited and waited in my car for at least 15 minutes before having to go inside to retrieve my order while it was sitting on a side table getting cold. When the woman handed me my order, the margarita was obviously missing so of course they had to make it, taking even more time. If I didn’t bring it up, I wouldn’t have received it! No apology or anything! The restaurant was not busy at all especially for a Saturday during dinner hour so I can only imagine what kind of service I would have received if they had a bunch of customers. In regards to the food, it was basic and average. Nothing special for the price paid. Please do better and don’t take your customers for granted.
