Taco Bell — Restaurant in Kentucky

This location is literally only good during the day, their morning crew NEEDS A RAISE. In the morning they are beyond amazing and polite and quick. Now that said, you are 10000000% screwed if you attempt to go at night. Obviously this location has been notorious in the area for providing horrid service and being closed outside of the hours posted multiple times on the internet, as well as even the front door of the building itself. I've attempted to go to this location multiple times within the last 4 years at night and even worked at the larosas across the street so I saw DAILY the same behaviors day in and day out. And every. single. time. it is a total waste of time and let down if it was past 4 pm. If you're lucky enough to get there while the employees (who aren't acting and looking like they are on some type of drug or drunk) actually have it open, you're more than likely going to wait a ridiculous amount of time in the drive thru OR have the order completely wrong and cold. Even with when being "under new management" the service remains consistently horrible specifically AT NIGHT LIKE HOW MANY TIMES CAN I STATE THIS. The employees attitudes are beyond unprofessional, even in a restaurant setting, and the "new management" seems to continue to thrive on the lack of service coming from the place after 4 pm. 3/24/21, at 9:30 PM, the drive thru was "closed" and multiple cars were in the lot. Went through the drive-thru today, only person in the entire drive-thru my entire visit, and it was fairly slow. I don't know how long i waited, but i know it wasn't to their standards. I get to the window, wait a few minutes to pay and then wait even longer to receive food (fairly simple order, quesarito, NO chipotle sauce. crunchy taco (regular) two quesadillas, NO sauce.) The baja blast freeze section of the machine went down as soon as i pulled up. But i was cool with that, i decided on the blue raspberry airhead instead, it was amazing! We receive our food, everything is there. Taco bell is too messy for me to eat in a car, so i ate the crunchy taco in the car, it was awesome. I get back to conner high school, where the winter guard competition is being held, take a bite into my burrito, and get the biggest mouthful of chipotle sauce ever. Not only did it have chipotle sauce on it, but i swear it had extra sauce. There was just so much on there. I tried to call, three times to be exact. No answer.

I get it, i get fast food is a hard industry to be apart of. I work at McDonald's. But it is not hard to put a smile on your face and have high customer service skills (except for the male employee, he was so nice and really cool about me switching the drink to blue raspberry). I don't go to taco bell often, fake mexican is not my thing, but when i do, i'm already annoyed that i have to eat taco bell, i don't want to deal with annoying fast...

This review is for the way this Taco Bell is managed. On the few occasions I've been able to get food there it is good and the employees were nice. However, is often just closed at random times, you never have any idea if it will be open or not, and the posted hours have zero relation to reality as they just seem to roll the dice every day to determine if they will be open. Don't try to order with the app or DoorDash/GrubHub because they will assume it is open (according to their hours) but they will actually be closed and you won't get your food.

An update. Yesterday took the cake. There were three of us waiting in the drive thru line at 7 pm. No one was answering. The lead car finally got fed up and left, honking at the window. The lady in the second car waited a long time, no answer at the speaker. I got out of my truck and walked up, and explained to her that often the employees here just decide to not do anything. She left. I then drove up to the window and saw no one behind the counter. I then drove around the building and saw three of the employees sitting in the lobby at tables looking at their phones. I got out of the truck and went to the door, it was locked. I knocked really loud and the all just looked the other way or covered their faces with their hands. I left in disgust at...
