Monday Morning Collector — Local services in Butler

Edited: I'm actually not employed by any competitors, I work for the county and am off because I had surgery. I have personally seen you at the Walmart checking the card sections, but it was your sons that were clearing out during the restock and bragging about it. You can continue to deny it, but it makes you about as reputable as your 5 star reviews that you've received. Oh, because you offered a discount in exchange for a 5 star review? You apparently don't know that that is prohibited by Google and possibly illegal. I actually have visited your store multiple times, spent money there, and even recommended it to other people in the collecting community. Hell, I was there a week before your kids bought up the Walmart release of Destined Rivals and I bought some singles from you! I'm speaking out because you are scalping, you won't admit it even though your family was caught. I'm not gonna hide on the internet, I'll be glad to discuss this in person at any time. Like I said, I felt like you are a generally nice guy and I recommended your store and your trade nights to multiple people in the past. You have lost my business regrettably. And if you want to try to blame your "competitor", go take a look at his pokemon section, he doesn't have everything from Walmart and Dollar General. Also, you can blame me, but you had a bad review on this same subject last week, before I ever said a thing on your facebook page (before you blocked me.) Have a good day and start thinking about the people and kids you're screwing over to further your profit.

I'll give 2 stars because the owner is a nice guy and the employees are friendly. But, He has his family clearing out restocks from local Walmarts and Dollar Generals and selling at inflated prices. I have spoken to employees and the stock lady at these stores.

Considering most card places claim up to 70% market value cash for individual cards and never actually do so, this place claimed 70-80% which blew me away. Apprehensive as I was, I went in anyway to the cleanest shop I've ever seen. They were very kind, knowledgeable and happy to educate me on things I was unaware of and even pointed out where certain condition issues were on particular cards. After I refused the first offer, opting to keep two of my cards we agreed on a price that was absolutely fair and I will absolutely be returning with sealed products and singles.

I am 100% impressed with the honesty because I did do my own research and they came up with roughly similar numbers I had in mind and that there is what truly won me over. I never write reviews but these guys earned it in spades from me,...
