Sky-high prices on vintage items, often in poor condition. Their “best prices” are an insult, more suited for San Francisco than Butler County. Seems like they’re pulling numbers straight from Chairish or 1stDibs for their MCM items. If you ask to negotiate price, they insult you and tell you to shop somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and go to a real antique mall, rather than this one that sells healing crystals. The owner describes this as a “retail” store. What a rip-off!

It is legally permissible for customers to express their views about their experiences with a business, provided those opinions are truthful or genuinely held beliefs. Criticism, even if unfavorable, does not constitute cyberbullying or harassment if it reflects the customer's honest experience. The threat to disclose surveillance images of me in response to a negative review, however, raises serious legal concerns, including potential violations of privacy and the use of personal data for retaliatory purposes.

I wish to clarify that the intent of my review was not to bully or harass but to express dissatisfaction with the pricing and customer service I experienced. The response suggesting the publication of my image as a form of retribution not only exacerbates the situation but potentially constitutes harassment and an unlawful invasion of privacy. This action may also be considered defamatory if it falsely portrays me as a threat to other businesses or the community.

The suggestion that I am engaging in dishonest behavior by using a pseudonym does not hold legal merit. The use of pseudonyms in reviews does not undermine the validity of the feedback, nor does it constitute dishonesty. The legal system protects the rights of consumers to express their views anonymously to foster open communication and protect personal safety.

I am personally very familiar with the building Mystique has so recently occupied and have a very strong sentimental connection. Very good friends not only owned the previous business at the same location but also lived there until tradgedy struck. Mystique has brought closure from the grief in losing a good friend. It is a peaceful closure in seeing a business such as Mystique take over where my friends left off and I am honored to write this first review. I have always loved antiques and have visited many shops over the years. I can sincerely say Mystique is the koolest one yet. I also dig art and it is the Artisan element in such perfect harmony with the many genuine antiques within that gives Mystique a pleasantly powerful vibe as soon as one walks through the door. The energy continued as I became aquinted with the folks inside. I met a talented artist named Marvin practicing his craft on site. There are many works from differing artists, some masterpieces in the eyes of this beholder. Marvin and his girlfriend obliged my invitation to stop by my place. The great appreciation they displayed for the many antiques that fill my home was moving. We have become fast friends. I’d been meaning to visit this place for quite some time, and I finally managed to get in for some browse time the other week. The shop technically wasn’t open, but I saw people going in and out (they were bringing in new stock) and I mistook it for being open but the owners were kind enough to let us roam anyway.

This place is absolutely lives up to the name. Every item has an element of mystery, whether it’s an antique or vintage item with adventure and love in its past or a new handmade item meant to come home and make a future with you. The store is set up brilliantly, with each display guiding you further back until you loop back around the front. I was so happy that this store also had great prices! I was able to afford everything that caught my eye, which was a pleasant surprise especially when dealing with handmade items and antique/vintage pieces.
