Love the tamales beats any thin the Mexicans can make! But why reproduce what Joe's pasty has protected!! A pasty filled with beef flavored potatoes wrapped in an awesome wrapper. Stick to tamales, unless you wana make a pasties thats rival to Winds or Louis. We're long time residents of Butte and that have moved away and we regard the Truzzolino name to YUMMY YUMMY comfort he food. The pasties that you make remind us of Joe's Pasty. I had my first tamale from Truzzolino's in the early 60's. It was wonderful. Lots of meat with a nice sauce rolled with the corn meal. I haven't had one for several years because I was living out of state. Since I've been back I had forgotten about them until I saw one in the frozen section at the local grocery store. Strangest dinning experience, we were reccomended to go here by a local, we thought it was a sit down restaurant. Hah. It is a window you go to to order frozen goods. The window leads to an office space and im assuming a kitchen behind that? They did have some small beef sized pasties that were warm for us to try, and warm gravy. Everything else is frozen.
