When my family and I showed up, there was one young man standing behind the counter, not in uniform, trying to decipher the orders that were sitting on the counter. I eventually found out the young man’s name was Roman. I.heard him ask this young lady if she could help the customer ahead of me and as this young lady walked by, she said no I can’t I’m busy I have my own thing to do. This young man wasn’t getting any help from the folks cooking the meals, especially when he asked for items that were supposed to be included in a meal and you could see the cook’s roll their eyes and act like it was a big deal to get the order correct. I was waited on promptly and kindly by the store manager. I used to work at dairy Queen years ago as a supervisor and there were times when I had to fill in down at the new store in town and it was crazy, totally unmanagable, a lot of I don't care attitudes and I'll do what I want with no respect. But there has been a recent new owner and obviously he must know what he's doing cause the manager Julia has turned that store around for the better. Things run smoothly, great teamwork. They made a small mistake on my order and I called and the manager was very nice and apologetic, professional and even offered me a whole new meal which I didn't expect at all. Stopped here while visiting from out of town. Ordered 2 chicken strip baskets and a large oreo mocha fudge blizzard. My blizzard was over an inch from the top & and a huge pile slopped on the side of the cup. And was missing the coffee flavor. We were there about 6:30pm and were advised that they were out of gravy except for a small container because they were close to closing and offered us other dips. The gravy they did give us was old, clumpy, thick, and gross. The toast from one meal looked like it had been eaten off of. The fries were old and cold. Nothing about our meal was good.
