My fiancé and I bought our wedding bands here about a year ago and decided that we were going to have this Kay location solder and resize my fiancé’s band to her engagement ring. She came home in tears yesterday After she received her ring back… it was crookedly soldered together and a diamond broken. The rings were in perfect condition before they went to get resized and soldered. The wedding band had not left the box since it was bought. So yesterday, She had picked up her ring and noticed something wrong with it, and she immediately turned around and walked back into the store And told the manager that the ring was soldered crooked, and lopsided, and something was wrong with one of the diamonds. The manager said “I wondered if you would notice” to the ring being soldered off center. And then continued to say that she thought that was how we wanted it to look... Which was not the case, because I bought that ring there a year ago because of how well it aligned with her engagement ring from the same manager. So it is really disheartening that they would hand Back a ring to us that we spent so much time and money on and expect us to “not notice” the faults and damage that they did to it. They are, however, getting it fixed and replacing the damaged diamonds, but The initial disappointment and lack of transparency is so upsetting. A ring means so much more than a large transaction, and so does trusting the employees whose hands you give it to. We were already nervous having it sent out and this is what happened! So hopefully the second time around...

Melinda treated us like family. We told her what we were looking for & she showed us all the styles that was in the style we were looking for. She told us the stories behind the rings, and if she didn't know she would ask. We felt so comfortable with her. Olivia helped towards the purchase and held our hands through the final decision along with Melinda. They gave more information on the two rings we were deciding between and their opionions on both. They were happy with the questions we were asking and gladly accepted the challenge of customizing my fiancé's ring as they don't have a style like he wants. Would highly recommend going here. You won't regret this decision. Made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. We know their job is to sell their products but they didn't treat us as a sale. My fiancee and I both got our rings from Kay's. The initial buy was absolutely amazing, but dealing with re-sizing and rhodium plating has been a nightmare. Valentine Rodriguez is the rep we have been dealing with. We took both rings and bands in on November 23rd. We have made 5 trips to pick up our rings. Each time something was not done correctly. Either one was not plated, not sized correctly or not even back to the store. We have wasted a lot of time and money driving back and forth. We asked to have our rings transferred to the Alpine location to hopefully get better service and not repeatedly be lied to. Kay's still has one ring that I hope to get back and have it finally correct. I would not recommend going to this location to buy jewelry.
