Rise Pies — Restaurant in Byron Township

It amazes me that something so simple could be handled so horribly. Went in and ordered two thin crust pizzas. As they were making them, they made one pan style / thick. I politely said something as they were making it. Employee looked at me and continued making the pizza and put it in the oven.

Got to the register and said they made one incorrectly, the girl rings in for thick crust and doesn't say anything to anyone else. Just an empty stare of confusion. Then a third employee hands me our pizzas after taking four times the cooking time to cut the pizza than it did to cook. I once again said the one pizza is incorrect. "Sorry" and walks away going back to cutting pizzas so slowly time could have stood still.

Pointed out a mistake to three different employees none of which had the common sense to try and fix the issue. Clearly they're not hiring PhD students here but my god what...

Never in my life have I ever felt so dumb trying to order. I went in for my first ever time today, and to put it nicely, the service was absolutely absurd. Being my first time, I asked a simple question and received a blank stare and no response as if the worker was mute. As I proceeded through the process of picking my toppings, I felt as tho I was being silently judged because of the look of disgust on the workers face. Maybe they were having a bad day, but still maybe try smiling once in a while. As we finished up, I was introduced to the other workers twin. Probably identical twins because she went mute as well. If you are having a good day do not step foot into this place as you will come out feeling like less of a person. This was our first visit to Rise Pies. We got a Margherita pizza, and it was very good! They have a large pizza oven. It appears to be a wood fire oven, but upon closer inspection, it is gas fired. However, they use very fresh ingredients and bake your pizza to order, so the result is very tasty. Prices are reasonable. They have a few "chef recommended" pizzas, or you can build your own. The staff was young people, and they were very courteous and friendly. It wasn't very busy when we visited, but they were prompt and we received our pizza quickly... Hot from the oven. This location is within the Tanger Outlet mall, so it is convenient for a quick snack or a meal. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. We will try them again. Next time we will give their "famous"...
