Went in today to get cupcakes for my daughters dads birthday and they were pretty limited. No big deal we picked what she wanted and she’s wanted to hold them again no big deal got a few other things and headed to the register. When we got there she accidentally dropped them. I told the cashier I was going to grab another one and she looked confused…. Grabbed another went back and she insisted I pay for both cupcakes $6.99 a piece now granted my kid dropped them and she was clearly upset about it but most companies I’ve ever been to and working in retail for the past 15 years I’ve always just replaced the ones they dropped or broke and claims the other out. Not at harps she insisted I pay for them and then tried to send them home with me and when I said I don’t want them to take home put them in the trash she just looked at me like I had 4 heads. Never again. Also the manager of the shift was made aware I paid for them and didn’t want them and she said nothing! Great customer service skills you have there buddy!
Not to mention some of the items I did buy were placed in the wrong price point and I don’t know about anyone else but inflation is high enough I’m not going to pay for incompetence or lack of experienced workers who can’t stock the...
Read moreI was searching everywhere for a salted caramel cake for my husband on his birthday and no one in Cabot seemed to have one or be able to make one. I was about to give up and try my hand at making it myself(believe me, no one wants that lol) when my sister recommended I call harps.. She said they were the best. I am so glad I listened to her because not only was the lady on the phone extremely helpful , they also happen to be the only one that carried a caramel cake. I thought it had to be too good to be true, but it gets even better. When I get there and see the cake it's perfect. On a whim I asked one of the ladies working if they could possibly write on the top..i knew it was a long shot because it had caramel Chips on top which made the surface really bumpy and I imagine not very easy to write on.. I was Happily surprised however when she said it would not be a problem whatsoever. Then Literally put down what she was doing, took the cake from me, and wrote on it beautifully. Their customer service is through the roof phenomenal! They were all so kind, attentive and focused on making sure the customer is happy. I choose pick up for a reason, usually being I am not dressed and not willing to get out of my car ha today is 80 degrees and I had my little pup in the car with me. I get a notification saying no one is available to bring my order out and I have to come in and get it myself. I hate how entitled this makes me sound, but I do pay extra to have them collect it all AND bring it to me. I understand staffing shortages. If you don’t have enough employees, don’t offer extra services. So what do I do, I leave my pup in the car in 80 degrees praying I don’t have to be inside long and no one calls the cops on me or breaks my window. Come to find out the whole time sweet David was already on his way to my car with my order. He was so polite and apologized profusely even though I’m sure he didn’t even know the situation. I wanted to give a shoutout to David, because he turned an almost negative experience into a positive one. I probably wasn’t the most pleasant at first, but his kind demeanor quickly changed mine.
