Starhouse Donuts — Restaurant in Cabot

You aren’t sick or imaging things! The chocolate icing for the donuts, really does taste like GASOLINE!! I’m not sure if it’s an ingredient they use that’s gone rancid or if it’s a chemical reaction of some kind; but the owners definitely need to figure it out! Do NOT eat anything made with it!

I went two separate times, one on 4th and yesterday; BOTH times I had to throw them out bc of it! I said nothing to the other people who also got donuts, but they all agreed something was bad and threw out theirs as well! Yesterday, My husband took one bite out of his donut holes and said, “Gross! Why do these taste like GAS?!”

Donuts are a treat in my home, and they are far too expensive to be thrown away every time! Save yourself some money and disappointment annd the risk of you or your family getting sick; please don’t eat anything covered in this until they figure out whatever is causing it!

This store seriously needs a health department inspection. If you doubt these words just walk inside and use your eyes to look around. Twice I’ve been in here. The first time I found I purchased spoiled chocolate milk and the Kolach, both boudin and jalapeno n cheese were no edible. I stop by like a year later and try again. The bottlesd coffee had a foreign cleaner taste to it. Both Kolaches smelled like rotten axx crack. The donuts were so so but not delicious. Someone really needs to do something...

☆ Dooooough-nuuuts....yuuuuummmm ☆ When I need to get my donut fix, this is where I go. This place offers 'Bavarian cream' in their 'Long-Johns' which is SSSOOOOO much better than when some places only use that white filling/icing stuff that is WAY too sweet, in my opinion. They might have that sweet icing stuffed ones as well but the Bavarian cream is the way to go with the long johns. I think I dig the apple fritters here best, tho. They are always hot, fresh...
