I try my best to support local companies but I have had it with these people old man Tim is shady

I came in bought a 5 gram white gold cross Told him could you get me the same thing in yellow .. he said yes .. two weeks later he says it’s in and so I drive out there to pick it up .. it was the same design same size / length etc … but it weight .3 grams Not even half a gram He tried to pull a slick one on me and sell me a hollow cross pendant not thinking I had any common sense about how to buy gold his response was “ well we were a business we have to make money it’s the same size you wanted you don’t know what your talking about.””” Who the hell talks that way to their customers ???? So I just let it go …

That should of been the end of it but it wasn’t I had a 14k 92 gram figaro chain needing a reweld for the female part of the clasp I wait 3 weeks nearly to wait on the simple repair only to go back and see that it was all but glued together and CROOKED Not only that but it come out weighing 91.3 grams??? Where did the .7 gram of 14k gold go time??? I know where it went ….. Right in your pocket you sleezy old bastard I’m not the one to go out of my way to post all this and waste time out of my life doing this but this man is shady and I’m advising anyone to go do business elsewhere and learn from our mistakes.. Rude old prune Skimming doing janky work trying to make an extra dollar . Try to support local business and get skimmed and hustled and get janky customer service

I took 15 carats of family diamonds into this local jewelry store to be appraised. I made an appointment weeks in advance for the appraisal. I was told that it would take up to 10 business days. As the date approached, I called to check in and was told in a very snippy tone by Mrs. Haney "we said we'll call you when it's ready". At 14 business days now, my husband called today to check on the jewelry. These items are irreplaceable and very special. When my husband simply asked for a date that the jewelry would be done over the phone, Mr. Haney rudely told my husband that it sounds like he can't make us happy and we can come pick up the jewelry. So, my husband went to pick up the jewelry with the job not complete. When you agree to appraise jewelry, especially valuable family jewelry, it is expected that you do it quickly and with respect to the owner. I hate to say it, but I believe it's time for the Haneys to retire. They have become increasingly rude and difficult to deal with. I was initially informed that I would only pay $4-$5 to have links taken out of my watch and it ended up being $15. When I first came to try on the watch it was still loose and I wanted it tighter so I asked them to tighten it by moving it up a notch more on the latch and I was told to try it out without getting it tightened and see how I liked it. I said “no I would like it tighter please” and then the elderly lady repeated herself that I should try it without tightening it up. Then after leaving my watch a second time I came back to the store and it fit perfectly! It only took a whole day to complete since I brought it to them in the morning. But then after trying it on (my second trip back) and saying it was perfect the elderly lady then made the remark “did that really make all that much of a difference?” To which I replied yes it did.
