We bought a brand new Maytag dishwasher on 7/10/20 and it was not cheap. It worked for 3 weeks and then one day randomly stopped mid cycle and gave an error code. Called Jimmy Payne's a couple of times and they advised they could not help and to call Maytag direct. I called (probably 20 times to date), initially the part was on back order, 2.5 months later after many calls...the part arrives broken. Now in nearly November a third party company finally replaced the part - only to determine that it also needs another part replaced. We are still hand washing dishes after spending close to a $ grand on a machine that should last years and do it for me. After hearing from others I do not think this place is selling quality appliances. She bought a GE dishwasher May of '21 and called for service multiple times for 3 months ago and just gets the run around. I was visiting my mom on one occasion back in December when a service person had an appointment to come to the house for service. They called my mom the day of appointment, but she couldn't get to the phone when they called, so the service person never showed & never returned the call. Because you did last week.... Called back an hour later and spoke with someone else, "yep we have that". Now I'm confused so I went for a drive. Parking stinks, you wont get close. Walked in asked for the item, "sorry we don't carry that". Someone needs to get everyone on the same page. Yes, they did in fact have my item but now wanted $10 more than the phone quoted price. If it wasn't for the fact that they were the only store that had it in stock I would have walked. That earned them another star above the 1 I was going to give.
