Vista Fitness Club — Local services in California City

Not a bad gym but the customer service is unprofessional and practically non existent. I've been trying to cancel my membership for two months and nobody is ever at the front desk and it's pretty much impossible to get a hold of anybody on the phone. I've had to call Tropicana Market (managed by the same people) just so I could talk to someone. And when I do finally manage to talk to someone I get told that they're too busy and they'll call me back. But they never call me back, this has happened 3 times already. I've gone so far as to call the company that processes the payment, just for them to tell me that they can't do anything about it and I need to talk to someone at the gym. I'm tired of being charged 35 dollars for a membership that I don't use, and I'm tired of being lied to about getting called back. I'm starting to think they're doing it on purpose to to bleed more money from my account. Either way. It's unacceptable. I've been to the lower 48 states and minimum of 4 gyms per state plus gyms in Europe Australia and Canada so you do the math on how many I've been to and this gym is the dirtiest I've ever seen. I was here a few years ago and it was cleaner but the equipment was something out of a 3rd world country which is what I tell people but clean and now that I came back a few years later the equipment has been updated from that last time but still is old equipment from 25 years ago and used heavily which is cool because it all does tge same thing at the end of the day but this place is dirty. The gym is taped together. The service is more then lacking.. I don’t mind the tape.. gives that rustic look. But I do mind when people steal money from me. I don’t suggest giving them your card information. They will tell you one thing and do 3 others. If you want just one month get cash or they will continue to charge you and they will stop answering your call. If they tell you they are going to wave your signup fee.
