It's a nice staterbros very big. Of course depending on the area you live either the store will be affordable or expensive and this one is on the expensive side which was expected. Anyways the only thing I find highly annoying is that there are no carry baskets if you need to grab only a couple of items and it's highly inconvenient when your standing in a long line and your arms are getting tired from holding stuff least i can set the basket on the floor if i need to. I'm not gonna grab a shopping cart for only 4 items. All the other staterbros has the carry baskets and this one should to. All the cashier has to do is take the basket at the counter so they dont go missing and they can even put something on it to set off the alarm in case someone tries to take it. I took off a star do to the fact they have no carry baskets and their isn't any excuses you can make to justify why you don't have them. Get some carry baskets!
Adding to my review. They no longer carry stater Bros brand chocolate chips. That is irritating because not everyone can afford $5 a bag for roll house. Hershey has small AF bags. I hope they bring back the store brand because that...
Read moreThis a review for the Stater Bros. located in Cherry Valley Blvd. in Calimesa. This store is awesome. They offer the following stations: sushi station that also offers ramen, pho, and now boba. They also have their ready-to-go food station, bakery with delicious pastries, full meat and seafood counter, and fruit station where where the fruits are peeled and chopped and made into platters, and a floral section. I love that they have so much to offer. The staff is friendly and typically there is not a long wait to check out. It's clean and they offer a wide selection of products. If you're a working mom like myself ( or prefer convenience), the app Instacart offers the convenience of ordering groceries through their website and drive-up pickup at Staters Bros. This is actually why I truly love this place. Not all grocery stores offer this service and that is a missed opportunity. The fee is typically 1.99 for pickup. The Stater Bros. team members bring the groceries out and load them to the cart. Of course, when I need something quickly I just run into the store and it is always a great...
Read moreJennifer (cashier) with blonde hair and a scar on her arm gave off a bad attitude and raised her voice at my wife. Showing blatant disrespect because my wife didn't hear her mumbling asking if she wanted bags. When my wife was apologizing that she didn't hear her, (because she was talking to our daughter telling her to hold on) is when Jennifer decided to raise her voice at my wife asking if she wanted bags. Raising her voice for no reason and being rude while doing so. Very unprofessional. Very rude. Wasn't even bagging the groceries and tossing them into a pile after scanning with items hitting other items. Soon as another employee came to bag the items, Jennifer's attitude changed to the "professional" voice and wasn't giving the same attitude to her coworker like she was to my wife. Jennifer needs to show more respect to people and learn not to mumble when talking to customers as well as learning not to raise her voice just because the customer didn't hear her mumble talk.
