“The first impression is a lasting one” for the first time ever visiting Overclocked electronics I have to say I am very satisfied. It’s hard to find good techs anymore but boy oh boy there is definitely one here! To start, when you walk into the shop, you are greeted with a smile, it doesn’t seem to matter how busy he is at the moment, he still takes time to talk with you and help you with any questions or concerns you have. He’s super friendly and very knowledgeable and I would definitely say trustworthy. I dropped off my uniden PC78 XL to get back in tune and some extra mods and it was done in a timely manner. Paired with a ranger SRA-198 mic it still has plenty of clean and clear audio, as a matter of fact I like it better than my connex now. The price point is unbelievable and unbeatable, in my opinion this man could be charging waaay more for the quality of work (and radio parts) he provides but he keeps it very reasonable for what I can only assume is the blue collar workers and truck drivers. This small CB shop is located right next to the truckers' entrance of the TA Truck Plaza here off I-94, Exit 6, Burr Street, in Gary, IN. The guy who works there is very personable, able to work with you, gives free testing and estimates, and he has a number of CBs to sell also. He really wants your CB to be running at optimum level when you're out there on the road. He's very affordable. And he really does know what he's doing there.
