I’m giving this place a 4. Very big investment opportunity here! Gary needs to do something to get this place thriving again. Bring back jobs , fix the roads, and get people returning. This little mall is a trooper. They have a clothing store and a Hot Dog place Chuck Wheelers. I’ll definitely be returning to eat and review the food. Anyone who is from Gary go and keep this place going. Instead of people bashing Gary why not come together and uplift Gary? Anyways I enjoyed the time I spent here!

An indoor and outdoor mall somehow holding on! There’s a few businesses open inside the mall but a majority of storefronts are unfortunately vacant. The interior is clean and kept up for the most part. Evidence of vandalism is seen here and there. There’s a few businesses on the outside of the mall including a Dollar Tree. The maintenance man we ran into was very nice and friendly! I hope new businesses come into this mall and keep it going! It’s not a bad shopping center.

Hey everyone, I stopped by Chuck Wheelers hot dog stand in the Village( Gary, Indiana) Oh my what a treat that has been around for as long as I can remember. As I flashback to the 60's when my Dad would take us to the village and would always buy two polish sausage with everything, diced onions, relish, mustard, peppers, on steamed buns. Such a Delicious delightful ( Oh my goodness ) taste in your mouth. To this day the quality of service is still friendly and attentive. The freshness remains consistent and the taste will keep you coming back again and again. Yes, I'm going tomorrow and get two polish sausage with everything !!!...

II there are no stores in the village anymore all of the stores are closing down it's only one two or three stores that you can shop at in the village it's really pitiful I don't know what's going on in our city but we need to get more stores out there in the village it used to be a beautiful place to shop back in the 70s and 60s not so pitiful it's only two or three things places to go now rainbow is getting ready to close down there will only be Dollar Tree left the polar sausage stand Ashley Stewart they might as well close the whole...

A strip-mall mall in west Gary, Indiana. Crumbling, falling-apart, structurally unsound and decades old.

This area is dangerous, at night AND during the day. Lock your car and set your alarm. Bring anything valuable with you. Park right near the front entrance so you dont get mugged leaving the store.There is no private security or police presence. This is a hot spot for drug dealers, gang members, and vagrants, so be aware of your surroundings.
