Nice break from impersonal big-box store where you have to walk the length of a football field. They are friendly and customer-focused here. When was the last time the bagger offered to carry YOUR groceries to your vehicle? I thought so. Produce section is small, but the meat dept. makes up for it (and many reviewers preceding me extol the quality of the meat). The meat is fresher and better quality. Closer to the farm?Don’t know why it would be better—it just is. Deli has fab potato salad in varieties, and tapioca pudding. I can’t find good potato salad at big-box stores. I’m getting hungry. Got my COVID vaccine at this pharmacy, and they were so warm and friendly and encouraging. “Mayberry” comes to mind. The store is always clean and never that odor that is unique to tired backwater convenience stores and sad small-town groceries where they just don’t care, and it shows they don’t care. We love this grocery store. It's always so clean and the atmosphere makes me feel like I've been transported back to a simpler and much better time in America, a time when integrity meant everything. Friendly staff, beautiful meats, and very fair prices. Update: HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE! Sadly the new ownership is beyond terrible! I actually saw salad in a bag that was soup! Green meat! Butter for $9.99 (tub of country crock). They no longer carry your groceries out for you. This place will be closing soon if they keep this up. In a small town, we need this store. But now I make the drive to Connersville because this place is deplorable!
