Idk how this place gets good reviews. The only good thing about it was our server. I got a filet mignon(med rare) which came out rare, and practically raw in the center. I've eaten plenty of rare steaks and enjoyed them, but for it to be ordered as a med rare and be cold in the center while not even tasting very good, was a huge disappointment. I've been very excited to try this place due to the amount of people I've heard hype it up, but after going there, I just don't get it. I had the lobster tail too and I ended up sending it back. It was so dry, rubbery, and overcooked AND it smelled awful đŸ€ą. I LOVE seafood and am not a picky person whatsoever, but that lobster tail was honestly scary, I'm glad I only took a small bite to taste it because had I eaten it, I guarantee it would have made me sick. My wedge fries were pretty good, nothing special, but good. The chips and salsa were gross too. The chips seemed like they either came from a bag or sat out a long time and the salsa was just flavorless and looked like cheap grocery store salsa or something, I don't know where they get it, but I have better salsa at home from the grocery store. My husband got the ribeye steak, medium, with waffle fries, a baked potato, and a Ceasar salad. The ribeye was undercooked as well, the baked potato was good for just a plain baked potato, the waffle fries were okay too. However, the Ceasar salad was so soggy we sent it back (that was one of the sides originally chosen to go with the steak and the waffle fries were its replacement). There was literally just a bunch of water at the bottom of the bowl. The server was wonderful in handling our complaints on the food (I usually never complain because it stresses me out, so her being so kind about every thing helped tremendously). We were offered a free desert because of all the issues we had, so we got the sundae brownie; it looked amazing and we thought for sure it would offer some redemption....it did not. The "brownie" was more like cheap chocolate cake and the vanilla ice cream had barely any flavor. We left so disappointed and my stomach felt sick then became very painful about an hour after we ate there. For the prices, this place should have higher quality food. It's in a good location and looks nice inside and the service is great. I hope they make changes with their food.

Edit:: I forgot to mention we had to swat flies away several times. It's not a big deal lol, but on top of everything else, it was really annoying and gross. I gave the food 1 star, but if I could give negative stars I would. Just consider my 1 star to actually represent -5 stars. I'm just glad we had a good server. I can't remember her name now, but she was pregnant...

For the LOVE! This was our first visit to No. 9 Grill and definitely won’t be our last! I can honestly say that the entire meal was perfect. The hubby and I shared the macaroni cheese bites and they were great. They have a nice spicy taste, not overpowering, just a bit of bite. I had the southwestern chicken with a baked sweet potato and steamed broccoli with shredded Parmesan cheese. The hubby ordered the Frisco melt with loaded potato wedges. Let me tell you! Everything was cooked to perfection and came out HOT! The chicken was juicy and had the perfect amount of cheese (I like spicy and I like cheese 😊). Taryn, our server, recommended trying the chicken with a side of the jalapeño ranch and she was spot on. The chicken was perfect without it, this just leveled it up. The sweet potato came out with sides of butter and brown sugar. Delicious. And the broccoli!! I’ve never had steamed broccoli in a restaurant that came out this hot without being over cooked. It was on-point! And the Parmesan was a nice touch. I tasted the hubby’s Frisco melt and I can honestly say that it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. He agreed. He said the potato wedges were delicious. Neither one of us could finish our food. I have enough of mine left for an amazing lunch tomorrow and let me tell you, I can’t wait! Lol. Like I said, everything about the meal, the service and the restaurant was perfect. (I know, I said perfect too many times , LOL) Even the restroom was clean!!! No. 9 Grill earned my rave review. We would have never known about the place if our new neighbors (Ms. Wanda and Mr. Odell) wouldn’t have given us a “Welcome to the neighborhood” gift card to the restaurant. So shout out to them! Thank you for a great experience Taryn and the No. 9 Grill. We...

2nd vist Update. My daughter and husband want to have dinner. So we got there and checked in with a 20-minute wait. We stepped outside and said in sun 🌞 enjoying the nice weather. We were called on 0hone after a 40-minute wait time. We were so happy the waitress that had fixed our anniversary dinner was our very amazing waiters this time. Everything was ordered, and hings came out as ordered only on issue. The chicken was to be well done. Brown is not burnt. It came out covered in cheese tomatoes etc 😋 once cut into it, it was not even a light brown. No grill marks, and it looked like white boiled chicken. Waiters saw it and had it fixed a.s.a.p. thank you for that. Everyone was done so I boxed my food to go bit it's okay every one else had a good meal and good time. I'm going to say 3 out of 4 is not too bad. Waitress was very well tipped by us, both 20 bucks each on about a 60 dollar bill for 2 ppl she is so worth every penny, hands down. Brownie and ice cream to go. Leave not full or hungry I had chip and salsa for appetizer Soni did eat something. I'm more happy my family had a good time laughing and jokes enjoy each other time. This is much better than the last visit.

1st original visit. We got a seat for our anniversary dinner. Waitress was ruid when she came to the table. We overlooked it. We ordered drinks as we looked at the menu. She tossed our drinks on the table and rushed us to order. She then tossed our chip and salsa on the table. It was very upsetting. She would run off and not let us order drinks. When she came and tossed our salads on the table. We decided to leave. She was SO VERY RUDE!! I can't believe the manager wouldn't even come...

Update. Third time is the charm. This time the food was delicious- steak and lobster worth every penny. Good service. The wine list could use a little upgrade but overall a very nice dining experience after a rough day. ***************************** We have been here twice. The first time the steaks didn’t have flavor and we chalked the experience up to pandemic restrictions. Almost an hour wait outside to get in; reservations not taken on Fri- Sat. Tonight (Friday) we went there and had nicely flavored steaks, but the dining experience was not what it should be for a $$$ ticket. My husband had the rib eye (good flavor): I had the filet. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out close to rare. I sent it back and it was still not medium but I ate it anyway. My daughter had the fried shrimp basket-average. The shrimp cocktail did have large shrimp with a cocktail sauce reminiscent of St Elmos but not as strong- not bad. Salads- average. Sides- average. We didn’t get bread and when I saw other tables getting it, I asked for it mid-meal. The ambience is what you would expect at a Lone Star, with teenagers running the front. The wine list - average. It has an advantage as you would need to go to Noblesville, Fishers or some place like that to find a good steak with good service and a nice dining experience (for the same price by the way), and most people from this area will not go that far. The steaks are in the $20s-$30s. There was a definite rush to get us out, which also affected the dining experience. Overall I wanted it to be more than it is.
