I am writing this compliment from your T-Mobile store at the Harvard Square address at 1438 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge MA, 02138. I am writing this review for your entire Harvard Square team, but especially for Sathak and Mic, whose competence, professionalism, patience, and goodwill are evident to ever customer in the store, where there is a smile on everyone's face and not a single voice raised in frustration for the half-hour I've been here. I want you to know how kind, generous, and indulgent each man was in helping me with my cellphone. I should add to this preface the awkward circumstances of my being here, which regrettably involve my leaving T-Mobile after 20-27 years of reliable service and excellent customer care, not because I was dissatisfied but because I was one of the USAID employees that Donald Trump fired in his gratuitous destruction of the federal government, forcing me to cut costs by availing myself of Astound/RON'S free cellphone service for a year.
I did not want to leave T-Mobile, therefore. It was a decision forced on me by unemployment, and I only came into your store because RCN insisted, (wrongly), that T-Mobile was blocking my transfer because of an outstanding bill, which I won't be able to pay until next month.
To this end, I asked Szthek to work with my Android and diagnose the source of my losing service for three days for the third time because of RCN Mobile's unstable network and indifference to customer support for its recently launched mobile service.
He diagnosed the problem within 90 seconds and allowed me to use the free cellphone service from RCN without having slightest reproach for my leaving T-Mobile, (which I'll return to when my fortune returns after Trump is gone!
Sather and Mic both checked my phone, tested it for data and telephone and text service and they couldn't have been more gracious, patien, and classy about helping me. They wouldn't even accept a gratuity for their wor They made me sorrier thsn ever to leave T-Mobile.
Please know that if all customer service representatives were as kind and competent as sathak and mic, the American people would not be so angry with it sll and inclined to vote for a human hand grenade like trump.
Indeed, perhaps are so angry at being kicked around and told to br "grateful" for being abused by a predatory rent economy that they have become nihilistic in their social and political attitudes.
After dealing with Astound mobile tht"s how I felt. In ten minutes, Sather andl Mic made me feel welcome valued as a person, and understood. I can't help but liketo, and I'm going to tell everyone everyone I know to go with T-Mobile, not Astound mobile.
Please give give Sathsk and mic raises and promotions. They deserve high marks as progessionals and they are grest...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but the customer service I received from Kimberly Romero at this store was truly exceptional. I made a request to upgrade my pre-paid plan on at the beginning of June. Since then, I encountered one frustrating issue after another. Despite multiple phone calls with several customer service representatives and visits to three physical stores no one from t-mobile was able to address my issue, until I spoke to Kim today. She listened to the challenges I faced over the past few weeks over my attempts to upgrade my plan, spoke to the necessary people to find helpful information, and made sure any additional fees incurred during this process would be credited back to my account. As a customer, I felt valued and frankly moved by Kim’s determination to make sure my problem is resolved. If not for Kim, I would have considered switching my mobile carrier. Going forward, if I ever have any issue with my t-mobile account Kim is the first person...
Read moreThe staff of the T-mobile shop in Harvard Square (store 5214) cannot be praised too highly. I visited the store over a period of 3 days (Oct. 16, 17, 18 2025) and was greeted courteously and had my questions answered and problems dealt with. Everyone was very patient (I am not good at technology) and no one tried to sell me a phone that was locked into their network and therefore would not work overseas (Note to Tmobile: you lost a sale there. I needed a new phone and would have bought one from you. As it was, all I did was transfer the chip from the phone I got from you 8 years ago, which was NOT locked into your network, to a new, unlocked phone which I purchased elsewhere.) But my point is not to criticize the company, but rather to praise the workers who are its living face and do a terrific job. I noted that other customers received the same considerate attention that I did. And not all of them were old...
