Call today and ask polite and specific questions of a lady working in the gun sales department. She obviously does not know enough about guns to be working in that department when I explained to her that I know specifically what I’m looking for and asked about a specific model, she became irritated, she then told me the gun I was interested in is not Maryland compliant which I already know is false when I ask her what does she mean? She replied well if I can get you to calm down, I will tell you. I was not emotional loud belligerent or rude. I was in fact, very polite and respectful. When I try to call the store to talk to a store manager the customer service number rings about 20 times and then the call is disconnected. I have had similar experiences with this exchange, and I have to question the leadership that runs it, and the training of their subordinate personnel. Customer should be treated with dignity and respect, and what I experience today was unprofessional And my attempts to contact the store to speak to. Someone are blocked by their inability to answer the phone after many attempts and letting it ring a lot. I would ask the store manager to please read this review and take this seriously I really don’t want to elevate this kind of a complaint up the chain of command through the military leadership or a fees management worldwide but if this continues, I will seek to get the problem fixed so that others don’t experience what I...
Read moreOn 31 October 2020, I went to the gun counter to pick up a weapon I had already picked out and registered a week prior. I arrived there at about 4:25pm but was waiting in line as there was a person in front of me being helped by the lady behind the counter and she was the only one working that I could tell. As I’m waiting a gentlemen came in and asked how could he help me. I said I was there to pick up. He let out a “sigh” as if there was an issue ... and then told me I’d need to come back because of the time. They close at 5pm. Now I am absolutely fine with that as this is my first weapon so I assumed the process was lengthy. But I also informed him the I tried calling the store the day before and before I came to determine their hours but their lines were down ... he agreed with me saying that he’d tried calling the store as well and that the lines were down for him as well. I returned the next day and got my gun. Fast Forward ... we purchased our 2nd gun from Ft Meades BX .. they actually had a sign on their front counter stating the latest time applications would be completed this would’ve been helpful for Andrews to have as well. Also when we went to pick up our weapon at Ft Meade it took them 10minutes! 10 MINUTES! The process at Andrews took waaayyy longer ...and I don’t see why I was unable to pick my gun the first time I went at Andrews being there 30minutes...
Read moreThe store is decent. A little cluttered in the home furnishings area, but that is because of the renovations. I suggest going in the evening because during the day it's like they like to schedule to slow cashier's. Last visit during the day time I stood in line for for a while. Then it was my turn to check out the cashier was so slow with checking me out. I only had 5 items and two were clearance .Which she forgot to give me the extra sales discount on. So then I had to go stand in line at customer service, which again was a slow cashier. The line had about 10 people in it and only that once customer service associate. So we wait and extra 20 almost 30 minutes just to get the...
