We had the WORST customer service by far today! It got to the point where my blood was boiling and I had to call the store manager. The self check out cashier literally just stared as us as we were asking for help and she says “do you REALLY think that’s the price of fruit? REWEIGH it”. I was being polite and told her I knew it wasn’t correct that’s why I flagged her down. She didn’t believe us and thought we were trying to scam the self checkout. Instead of helping us she made a big deal and told us that she was going to take the fruit to customer service because we were already in the pay mode by the time buttons were pressed. All I had to do was push “no” to the payment amount and she insisted that we couldn’t do anything about it. She sat there and continued to tell us all the wrong things we did at the self check out and how “we can’t be doing that anymore at the self check out” as if we did it on purpose. She helped other individuals while we sat their aimlessly stuck on the screen that says “store login” so she could approve the transaction. Instead of doing her job and just helping us weigh the item she decided it was a better idea to criticize us and put us down. I truly hope the manager takes care of this issue, I’m sure they are losing customers day in and day out. You would think they would hire people who actually care about our service members. It is disgusting how people are treated by...
Read moreI enjoy shopping at the Andrews Base Commissary. They have many sales and specials that serves one or many. I very seldom take a shopping list, because l don't stick to it. The less time I have, the more I spend. I shop for many disabled veterans, dependents, and others that can't see their monies worth off base. I save a lot of money and really can stretch a meal if I have to. The staff, workers, baggers are friendly, patient, caring and helpful. I feel like a magnet sometimes, because when I come early to shop, the store fills up quick, everything began to move fast and I'm finished, until next time. The Andrews Commissary is clean, organized, well stocked, constant rotation of products. All I have to say is keep up the good work, keep smiling and keeping me spending. When get home my kids never ask how much I spent, but...
Read moreI have never experienced such disrespect from a commissary employee in my life.. My husband has done 20 plus years of service. Retired WO3. I’ve been a customer of the commissary since 2000. The commissary clerk by the name of Emma, Asian lady tried to accuse me twice of not scanning my items. Which was clearly scanned. Which, she can clearly see on her screen, that the items was scanned. Instead she tried to create a scene. I had to defend myself, in her accusations by telling her to go check her screen. I don’t need to steal a bag of apples, or toilet paper from the commissary. I’ve been a government employee for the last 20 years. I would not risk my security clearance, or freedom, for a bag of apples, and toilet paper. Not because you see someone that is dark skinned in sweats means that they are stealing. Shame...
