+JMJ...Monday, 17 October 2022. It has been many years since I have had a meal from Burger King. When they were open in Sedona (closed several years ago,) I would travel from Cottonwood just to have a fish sandwich, formerly called a "Whaler." Now, to today's meal. If I could give that meal a billion or more stars I would. That was one of THE BEST BURGERS I have eaten in a long time. Double patty with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeño peppers on a toasted bun with sesame seeds (which I don't ordinarily like) and a just right amount of mayo. My first bite reminded me of my high school days when Burger King first opened in Houston Texas. Man oh man! What a tasty burger! 😋😋😋 The French fries were hot and the Coca-Cola was crisp!! What a GREAT meal! When next I travel to Camp Verde, I am going to try one of their crispy chicken sandwiches. Oh something else. I usually drive thru, so no idea of the restaurant's interior but must say the drive thru attendant, a young lady, was very courteous. If you haven't eaten at Burger King lately, you could be missing out on something really yummy! Blessings! Friday 16 February 2023. Today's brunch from Burger King, fish sandwich with onion rings was filling and satisfying. Hadn't eaten a Whaler (now called BK Fish) in many many years. Pleasantly surprised by the zesty sauce condiment for the onion rings. May order an extra packet the next time I come through so that I will enjoy it on my sandwich. Must mention the drive thru attendants (didn't ask their names) but must say they were wonderfully gracious. Having read many of the reviews, must say that each of my visits have been more than satisfactory because I greatly enjoyed my orders and each time have been very impressed with the great customer service of the drive through attendants. It has been mentioned that Burger King may open a restaurant in Cottonwood. Sure hope that they can persevere in their business and then set up in Cottonwood. Blessings! Friday 3 Jan 2025 UPDATE. Stopped by to order fish sandwich, fries, and onion rings. Tasty meal. And, very impressed with Drive thru attendant. Courteous, happy, and helpful young man. I had to wait a few minutes for freshed cooked onion rings (they were delicious) and the young man returned to the window to apologize and explain the wait. Now that is GREAT customer service! I didn't ask his name, but in our brief chat, he mentioned he has lived in Arizona for 5 years or so, and he was hopeful to experience a Winter with 70° weather. It would seem 2025 has presented him with his wish. Lastly, I wanted to share a photo of the Play area constructed in 2024 (I think.) Blessed New Year...
Read moreOn 7/20/24 at approximately 11:20am I drive thru ordered a double whopper with cheese, no pickles, just the sandwich. Order came out to $9 and change. Although the man at the window was very professional and friendly, he proceeded to take my debit card and hold onto it for at least 5 minutes while they prepared my food. Debit cards always need to be charged and immediately returned to the customer for obvious reasons. Once I got my food, I took one bite and it was cold. Not warm at all. So I proceeded to enter the building and ask them to remake it. Again, I spoke to the same man who was at the window and he was very friendly and immediately granted my request. At this point I chose to look into the kitchen and watch them make my food. I then witnessed the food worker wiping his gloves on the back of his jeans and proceeding to handle the food. At that point I lost my appetite and requested a refund, as I would not be eating there. I then requested to speak to the manager and was told the manager was “M.I.A.” And they were calling them to see where they were. A few minutes later a young man came up who looked about 18 years old. He didn’t introduce himself. Then he went around the corner by the drive thru window for a few minutes and reappeared at the front counter with cash and placed it down on the counter. I asked, is this the amount of my order? He said yes and I picked it up and counted it. Only the initial employee I dealt with apologized. Typically, in this situation the debit card is issued a refund, but at this point I was ready to leave, so I took the cash and left. I’m seriously considering reporting this to the...
Read moreTaking orders is not rocket surgery(thank you, president Bush). Why is it that customers are required to explain the specials offered by their place of employment? Why do customers have to repeat the same part of their order 3 times to the attendant to ensure they heard it correctly? Why then, after explaining the order 3 times does it come out incorrect? I experienced a failure in leadership through customer facing employees that clearly have not had enough training, or have not proven their competency. Customer service jobs like this are a staple in the local economy. It's a shame some the employees can't be bothered to be personal or show even a modicum of respect to the customers. It's my favorite experience ordering a burger with cheese, no lettuce, only to hear "uhhhh...what? No what? Oh, uhhh, and what?"(sarcasm for the less initiated). These kids want $20/hr? If they learn to listen, get efficient at their job, eliminate simple mistakes, and give good service, then we'll talk. Until then, corporate needs to audit this location for...
