Stopped in here to get some tacos for the road on the way to sedona. Long story short I started ordering extra food to make up for the skimpy offerings of taco bell lately but even that has dropped off in so many ways and the price went up since the last time i got a taco which was raised the last taco i ate its crazy... so order 2 cups of cheese with my nachos now since they are only ever half full if that and got 8 cups 4 sandwiched together 2 times to make not even 1 cup of nacho cheese altogether for my nachos that went up 10 cents so even after ordering the extra cup of cheese and getting 8 total cups 2 half full and paying an extra 80 cents so over 4 dollars for chips and cheese and still didnt get an order of nachos.... also when i order the special dorito supreme version of your taco i expect it to at least be even woth the top with things like lettuce and cheese and tomatoes not half full with 2 slivers of cheese.... how supreme!!!!!
Totally unsatisfied again after going in with high hopes that i would get a good meal for what they charge now like they would make sure their quality stays on point.... They are cutting corners at places there aint even a corner to cut ok?
Reach out Taco Bell all i hear back is the sound of your cash register...
Maybe get a robot to make the food like u do for the money and ordering part... they dont care about you aftet they...
Read moreOk, I don't eat fast food much anymore, however that's not the reason for my low stars.
Because I haven't had Taco Bell is years I ordered a variety of burritos.
1 beefy fritto $1 1 beef xxl $4.69 2 5 layer beef $4.38 1 beef supreme $3.49
The first I tried was the beefy fritto and honestly that was the best of them all, decent size and flavor for $1, I should've stopped there.
Next I tried a beef supreme, hmmmm same size as the the beefy fritto but was 90% beans, and the other 10% was 1% beef, some rice and a hint of lettuce a 2 tiny tomatoes. Not worth the 3x+ of the beefy fritto for a $1
Then I tried the 5 layer beef burrito, ummmm basically a bean burrito with a couple of pieces of beef, ya no thank you.
Lastly the Beef XXL, ya this was actually a pretty thick burrito but once again mostly beans, a little rice, and some other stuff that didn't really affect the taste much.
In retrospect, when you have to order Taco Bell in the future just get a couple of items off the $1 menu to get by because the higher price items are definitely not worth the money at least at this location. While everything tasted ok for fast food, it was sad that I was most impressed with the $1 beefy fritto burrito.
I ordered via the app and picked up in the drive through so can't really comment on the friendliness nor accuracy...

Act I: Youthful folly
A harried and hassled brief dalliance at the drive thru. Rushed decisions in the flush of youth brought errors to rue at leisure. A hasty set menu selection was made.
Act II: Regret
A sorry moment of realisation. The parking lot. The chips and sauce cost $1.86 for the merest suspicion of maize. The chalupas were golden but size-challenged. Is this the sum of life's wonders?
Act III: Redemption
Faced with this gastric ennui, your narrator strode to the service counter, made use of the impeccable bathroom facilities, then perused the saver menu.
A cheesy rice and bean burrito, a potato taco a dollar a piece. The high-roller's choice was a chicken ranch burrito for 2 bucks. A free refill of Diet Pepsi with a dash of orange soda, a nod to the German Spezi. Satisfaction restored in the car.
Epilogue:
So the sun sets on a sated and chastened vision of the Southwest. Older, wiser, more...
