I first went in a couple years back to purchase a pair of diamond studs. Walking into the building we were warmly greeted and asked if we had any questions or had anything in mind. We tend to like looking ourselves and not be bothered or pressured by anyone. Not once did we feel that way. Rob helped us pick out a pair of diamond studs of great quality. He told us they offer a diamond tradeup policy. Sounded intriguing, but doubted we'd be doing that anytime soon. We walked out with a beautiful pair of studs and a gorgeous diamond fashion ring I couldn't take my eyes off of. Fabulous experience! Even got a discount because it was during a sale before the Christmas season, bonus! The next year we came back. We used the tradeup policy. I gave them back the diamond studs, they gave me back every dollar we'd spent on them (even sales tax) to put towards a new larger pair of studs. Who does that!? They do! Brittany was our salesperson that time and she was beyond helpful and was so nice and accommodating. Husband was so impressed that he had me pick a diamond off the "diamond wall" and had them custom make me a necklace to match. They didn't have the size pair I wanted so Rick helped me pick out two separate stones, matched up as perfect as could be, and had my earrings custom made. Rick knows what he's doing, they came out beyond my expectations. We were even asked if they could make us a drink from thier espresso bar....classy. Another wonderful experience. Fast forward to today. Something arose and I needed to get a lump sum of money. Considering my pieces id never part with are from Komara, those stayed home. The rest of my 14k jewelry i weighed out and realized it was quite a bit. Spent 2 days online looking to find where I could go and sell my gold jewelry without getting "ripped off". Head kept spinning so I grabbed my phone and called Komara. Didn't hurt to ask. Rick told me they do buy gold jewelry and just bring it in and he'd take a look at what I have. He explained the chain and process of melting gold, where they send it out to be done. So I expected my offer wouldn't be too high since everyone needs to make some profit for thier services. What I didn't expect was to receive the phenomenal offer that I did. Even when I calculate it, they really didn't keep much of a profit at all! I received so much more than I even though a fair price was. I asked him if i could hug him.....he let me lol Rick, thank you so much, for making my beautiful jewelry, and more so thank you for today. You were angel with wings for me, wether you knew it or not. Thank you Brittany for my Birth-mas presents last year, you were so kind. Thank you Komara for all your beautiful jewelry and warm staff. I brought some rings to have sized and reshaped when I got my first studs. They still look gorgeous and "new" even to this day. Hands down the best jewelry store and honest gold prices when you decide to "lighten"...

We originally had this custom ring made at another jeweler, and the emerald fell out within a few short months. It was not structurally sound, and we knew we wanted to move forward with a redesign with a different jeweler. After meeting with multiple others and looking at countless CAD designs, we decided to move forward with Komara. And we are so happy we did.

The shop itself is beautiful and welcoming. They have an impressive selection that includes a perfect blend of traditional, timeless, and modern pieces. We worked with Rick on our customization, and he was amazing. We learned more about our stones/ring in a short few minutes with him than we had in months from working with the others. He listened to us, worked with us, had a beautiful design drawn up for us within a day, and he had the ring made quickly. We are so, so happy with the results. We will forever be grateful for knowledge, craftsmanship, and kindness demonstrated at Komara. We will be lifelong customers...

Terrible experience from this place. Very incompetent and ignorant employees. Bought my wife's engagement ring with the promise of a matching wedding band, went in to order the band months later and they said the only way to get the band is to have it custom made at a premium price. Would have been nice to know before I spent three grand on the engagement ring with this place. Luckily a competitor was able to find the band she was looking for way less. In addition to that my unbreakable ring shattered and they wanted me to pay for the replacement, which then resulted in a pricing mix up in which they have been harrassing me for money for over a year, even though it was their mistake. My whole family USED to buy their jewelry from here, but that...
