Iāve shopped at this store for years, primarily because itās just around the corner from my home and the staff always treated me like family. Although their inventory can be somewhat limited, the teamāand especially the long-time cashierārecognized me every visit, greeted me with a smile, and their flexibility, even allowing me to pay later for small purchases under $5 if I was ever short on cash, truly showed their commitment to customer relationships.
Unfortunately, last couple of my recent experiences have been disappointing. A new cashier refused to let me pay a $3.99 bill by card. He balked at giving me my one-cent change and then quipped, āI know youād ask for itāIāve seen plenty of people do the same.ā . On the bright side, he handed over the correct two cents without further comment this time. But these negative experiences have left me feeling unwelcome. As much as Iād like to support a neighborhood shop with friendly service, Iām afraid I wonāt be returning unless management addresses this change in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to shop at this store on quite often, but please aware of the price cheating that I experienced this time. First of all in order to use credit card the minimum is $10 I had exactly $10.09 items picked and when he ring me the total came as $10.97 when I asked he said for one of the item price was not updated and show me the bill, and guess what found out that he charged one more items price also extra, when I said that the price is not right (he pulled the price sticker when ring the item) he said that it is the right price, I think he realized that I know he is lying so he offered me to return extra money charge in coins. I am not going there again, I donāt even know how many times I have been charged extra before. This is clearly cheating when 2 out of 3 items has different price than...

I like to get spicy snacks there to pack in lunches and I get Dosa batter to make breakfast for my son and I get fresh milk sweets from the case in the very front of the shop for my sweet tooth.
Lately I've been getting fresh slabs of paneer from the refrigerator in the back and we love the frozen onion kulcha and garlic naan. If you're lucky, there will be delicious samosas in the warming case by...
