Southernite Interiors — Local services in Canton

Very disappointed in thier communication efforts and no attempt to made things right. Made purchase from stocked items 7 days ago and employee told me "you can return within 7 days". She never said "for store credit or exchange only". Today I was told by the store manager, "it says only exchanges or store credit on receipt". Well, they don't provide receipts, they email them and it went into my spam folder which I did not realize until I attempted the return. The employee last week also said "we can let you take items home for a trial for 3 days for no charge". I told her I would just purchase since it could be returned because I would not be able to return until the following week (7 days). Store manager said "the trial period is 24 hours and not 3 days and employee just told you 3 days because we are closed on Sunday and Monday so that made it 3 days for you". The store employee also forgot to give me some small items I purchased. Needless to say I was so irritated that I returned those small items too. Now I have a store credit for over $300 that I don't even want to use. I will never return once I use the store credit. I told the manager I would never return and she did nothing other than "I'm sorry". I also mentioned someone told me they were not pleased with this store and she replied, "we have always had good reviews". That one statement probably tipped me over the edge to write this review so they now know not everyone has a good experience. I'm so disappointed as I try to shop local but because I was not given correct information and no effort made to rectify the situation strikes this local store...

Wish I could give 6+ stars! I've frequented this shop since it opened. The store is full of beautiful decor and gift items and the employees are always so helpful. We were in dire need of new furniture in 2020 after our home was damaged by a storm and we lost two rooms of furniture. With such a crazy time of supply and manufacturing shortages, Ella worked her magic to help us find beautiful pieces that had shorter waiting times. I just can't recommend...

I can not say enough good things about Southernite! They were with us from the very beginning of our new home build and I truly could not have done it without them! From lighting, flooring, furnishings & anything in between! They are on my speed dial and I consider them family! We are currently using them to redecorate a lake house in Blue Ridge.
