Murdale Shopping Center — Local services in Carbondale

Excellent ethnic foods. Some customer service problems which resulted as problems with food from Mediterranean restaurant. Gyros do not come with three meats. Also, certain individuals seemingly work and/or are present only when I am present that have not only no reason to cause myself or anyone else problematic issues but are making the businesses and community not worthy for anyone to be living within. Unfortunately this includes facilities, health care, and state affiliated workers I've experienced the same problems in the murdale shopping center as I have everywhere else which includes theft, poor behavior towards myself and others, and setting up individuals for failure. What was done at the Mediterranean restaurant was not only an insult to the owner but most definitely an insult to myself. Unfortunately this is not the first time someone has given me the leftovers from there meal and worse. I must add that I am homeless and do have SSDI benefits and food stamps that at present was stolen during the last few days. My purchases within the shopping center for merchandise were also compromised. I know the quality of food is excellent and was able to also eat at the Mexican restaurant. In fact I went twice in same day and would also frequent the Mediterranean restaurant and all stores within the shopping center. I was more than pleased with my visit to the Mexican restaurant with exception to the second visit that other patrons must have had a personal issue towards me. I am very thankful for the individuals who have extended there generosity when they recognized that I needed help and were able to. I love shopping at the fresh produce store, they have the best prices and are a nice little place that doesn't get packed like other grocery stores and they occasionally get fruits in there that I've not seen in other grocery stores such as Kroger, Schnucks, Aldi, Save A Lot, Arnold's Market or even Wal Mart. First time I took my youngest in there he was told to find 2 new fruits and/or veggies to buy. He found a winter melon and a dragon fruit, we get home, he tried them and learns he isn't a fan of the dragon fruit but liked the winter melon though it tastes more like a cucumber than any sort of melon. We went to California nails. Service is very rude. I wanted a design. Lady doing my pedi said no. Then when you are getting your nails done they move you from one seat to another. Um, people we have covid going on!!! Why are we moving around so much touching everything with nothing being wiped down. Anyways, we had 4 people in our group. We got there about 245, at 530 I was like I need to leave they were not done with our small group yet. Very pricey!!!! Be ready to get out the credit card lol but the one good note the nails...
