Mr. Richard Raudabaugh owns the Fabric Center at 41 W. Pomfret St. Carlisle, PA. He is the original owner, (has been for over 50 years ).I'm sorry for the bad experience you had 2 yrs. ago. I believe you would have a different experience if you shopped there today. Colors!!!! This store has a beautiful selection of high quality fabrics that you won't find at Joann's. Situated on a narrow street, The Fabric Center is fortunately right next to a parking garage, since street parking can be a challenge. I was told that this store has been in business for 54 years and I believe it. There is a comfortable , nostalgic feel when you walk in the door. My wife and I were asked to be a part of making a quilt for an expecting mother. We've never done anything like this. We went to The Fabric Center. We received all the supplies, help and knowledge we could ever need. We were told to come back for assistance if we ran into any troubles with our quilting journey.
