I went in with high hopes based on good reviews and afterwards was very disappointed with this company which seems to have too much business to provide good customer service. I requested my finger to be sized and my new ring (bought elsewhere) to be sized to fit. I was told it would take 3 weeks unless I paid extra for expedited service. I paid the extra fee and when I went to pick it up, it was quite noticeably too large (a whole half size too big). My finger was sized wrong despite providing the old ring I wore on the same finger for comparison. I had to leave my new ring behind to be resized again. They said they wouldn't charge me for the re-sizing and I thought that was a given. I was surprised there would even be any question about that. I was upset to leave the new ring behind again especially after paying extra for expedited service. When I picked up the ring the second time, they offered to remove the extra fee for quicker service so I took a chance based on their good faith and left my original, older ring to have worn claw tips and a loose stone repaired. Another disappointment - I was told they would call me later that same day with an estimate for the repair. Eight days later, I had still not heard from them so I texted them to inquire about the status. They had not even started the repair and they quoted a price that I thought was quite high so I declined and picked up my ring which I left with them for over a week for no good reason plus it would another week before it would've been ready. Had they provided an estimate on the day I left it, I wouldn't have left it at all. Next, I was planning on taking in a watch for repair - no thanks, I'd prefer to take my business somewhere else. Poor...

I am beyond impressed with this jeweler! My wedding ring of 16 years broke and I had planned on getting the ring repaired. My husband and I had discussed getting a new setting at some point. When I mentioned it to Sasha, she told me they could use my original diamond and incorporate 1 gram of gold from my original ring. At that point, we decided to design a new ring instead of fixing the old.

Sasha was so patient with us and did not pressure us. They designed a custom piece incorporating my original diamond. They even made a plastic mold for me to have a visual of what it would look like. They are reasonably priced, there was no pressure to buy and it made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this jeweler whether you just need a repair or you need someone you can trust with a future event where jewlry is involved. They handle each customer with care and patience. Carlsbad holds such a special place in my heart and I love that my new setting was created here. It was such an emotional decision to change settings but their gentleness around the situation turned my tears into excitement for the future. My husband and I have weathered a lot over 16 years, and we are stronger because of it. This ring is symbolic of remembering the trials that made our marriage stronger by adding one gram of gold from my old ring and incorporating the original diamond. But we get excited and look forward to the new adventures of the future and the symbolism the new ring holds. Thank you Sasha and Katherine for making this experience easy and special.
