Positives: Clean, pretty decor Cons: Having unqualified people give 90-minute services Here's my experience: Booked a 9am appointment: Business was not open when I arrived at 9am. The woman who let me in could not speak English. I kept an open mind. Another person came and handed me a cell phone, the woman on the other end, asked me about my appointment. I told her what I was having done, a 90-minute Ancient Spartan Massage through Class Pass. She said okay. I assumed she was running late, and she would be coming to give me my service. A man also not introducing himself escorted me to a treatment room. He only said to me, “follow me”. As a new client, I was not given any new client paperwork or liability waiver to complete. I was not told his name or the name of woman who couldn’t speak English. I was not asked my name, either. I still kept an open mind. Once inside the treatment room which was lovely, I changed into the robe which was also nice. I left the room to ask for water. I asked “May I have a cup of water?” to the woman who had let me into the spa. The man translated. She got me water. I went back to the room. The same woman who I thought was the cleaning lady who spoke no English who let me in and was cleaning to prepare for opening came in the room. I was terrified she was going to attempt to massage me as she could not understand “may I have water” there was no way that she was a licensed massage therapist. She was not dressed as a massage therapist. She was disheveled at best. She pointed at the table. I still felt uneasy because she still was not speaking to me, just pointing. I laid down on the table. She never spoke to me once during the session. She definitely was not a licensed massage therapist. She did not use her hands hardly at all. She used her elbows and closed fists. She punched at my back and feet. I wanted to stop the service but I was afraid to appear rude as she clearly did not understand English and I did not know how to communicate that I had high safety concerns as it was not a massage at all. I will say that she may have been one of the workers who do scalp massages as that was the only part of the service that seemed to be appropriate. I planned on asking to speak to the manager on duty about my experience. It was not the woman’s fault that she was placed in the position to give the service. I blame management. I tipped her $20 as I felt bad that someone who was clearly not a massage therapist was placed in her position. When I left the room to go to the desk to speak to a manager, another man that I had not seen previously was yelling at someone about he had text them to tell them to be there. I quickly left the business as it was not professionally managed. I actually was a little scared. Today, I have bruises on my back from the service. I don’t know what is going on with this business, but I would not recommend it to anyone. It was the worst spa experience I’ve encountered. There’s a management issue for sure. Unqualified workers should not be placed in the position my massage worker...
Read moreSo this is a story of how you lose customers. I came here after my friend treated me cupping for 30 minutes and I liked it and it was affordable.
When I come 2 days ago front desk lady(brunette long hair) was kinda nice and told me she would recommend Emily and even offered throwing in free cupping. Anyways I got the massage and Emily was super good and cute. My free cupping was literally a couple minutes but anyways I’m grateful for it, I appreciate it.
I liked the massage, I tipped them 20% and I told my husband he should try it as well. So 2 days later I came back with my husband and asked if Emily can do same thing for my husband. First she said she can’t offer free cupping, I’m like okay… I don’t care if she offers or not , it was couple minutes anyway, it’s a gesture. I’m a customer who comes back and brings somebody else and I most probably would bring more people in the future. I don’t mind “I can’t offer your husband free cupping” part. Then I told her I would like to do 30 min cupping and she said they don’t have that. I explained that I came with my friend couple months ago and I got 30 min cupping therapy for 50$, and my friend comes in every couple weeks since long time and that’s the only thing she does in here. She kept insisting that it’s impossible and they don’t have that. I’m like are you serious?! (From my inside of course)
I texted my friend and asked her if she comes here for 30 min cupping and she says yes all the time. Even she was very very surprised they say no to me.
Anyways long story short, I sent my husband inside and I didn’t get any treatment because her attitude was ridiculous and rude. So while I was thinking I’ll be a regular customer now I’ll never come here again. So this is story of how you lose customers. So meaningless and unnecessary and unprofessional.

Read moreI’ve gotten plenty of massages in my time, including several absurdly expensive ones in global 5 star spas. In this little gem nestled in an unassuming Carlsbad strip mall, I had the best treatment of my life. Hands down. I was in a state of such deep relaxation and ease as Monica worked through a superb full body massage, hot stone treatment, foot massage, and scalp / hair steam treatment. To be specific, I got the 60 minute hair scalp treatment and the 90 minute stress relief shoulder/neck/back massage. Monica was extremely thoughtful, communicative, friendly, and worked through a lot of tough muscle tension. She has great attention to detail and made sure I was comfortable with the pressure throughout the entire 2+ hours. Excellent service at a truly unbeatable price. You need to book this place if you want to treat yourself and enter a zen state! You’ll thank yourself afterwards, and won’t feel like you just burned a hole through...
