Stagecoach community park has so many areas to explore! There are also two separate parking lots: one close to the sports complex and another by the playgrounds. While walking from one side of the park to the other, you’ll find some adobe ruins from an old ranch house and the “Crown Lair” (a public art piece). My son had a blast playing hide and seek around it. The sporting area is very nice and the lawn by the playgrounds seemed to go on for miles. This was just such a great park!

📍3322 Camino De Los Coches, Carlsbad, CA 92009 🚙Plenty of free parking in the parking lots, EV charging stations in the parking lot near sports fields 💰This park is free 🎠The play structure has both standard and bucket swings and is built on a rubber/sand ground surface combination. 🚽Restrooms 🧺Multiple picnic tables under pavilion 🍔Charcoal grills 🪑Park benches at playground 🖼Huge lawn 🌳Shady trees 🌟Clean grounds 🛣Good distance away from busy roads, the trees separate the playground from the roads 🥾.25 mile gravel/dirt walking trail that leads to La Costa Ave 🚲Paved paths perfect for small bikes, scooters, roller blades ⚾️Both turf and real grass baseball fields 🏀Half court basketball courts 🎾Tennis courts ⚽️Turf soccer...

I discovered this park one mild winter afternoon with an elderly person. We both wanted to enjoy being outside and to enjoy watching children and teenagers practice and play scheduled games on the fields. We had a great time. We walked along the park sidewalks and discovered its designed in a really smart way--allowing each area to max out--while not taking up too much land. We stopped to happily watch basketball, softball, soccer, and lawn bowling. I was excited in discovering the historic, secured stagecoach stop/station landmark, too. We discussed how fitting and special it would be if Legoland donated/built a Lego Stagecoach near the children park area to commemorate with the historic treasure. Stagecoaches and trains were an indispensable part of our state and county history, just like Legos have been part of fond memories and time. Overall, the neighborhood has an outstanding neighborhood park treasured by 1,000s who live nearby and no wonder. It's different, well-cared for and...

Great park, clean, not crowded, quiet, safe. I lived across the street for a year and we took a stroll through the park every day, we never had an issue. It is a large park with plenty of things to do, baseball fields, indoor/outdoor basketball, playground, large fields, walking paths, and tennis courts. It says no dogs allowed but we and what seems like everyone else bring the dog and have never been told anything even while the summer concerts...

Fun park. Great for kids of a wide range of ages. Came here to BBQ on July 4th once and thought it would be super crowded and hard to get a spot but that was not the case at all; it was pretty much empty and we had our pick of the grills and picnic benches. A few big trees also provide some shade even when it's very hot and sunny out.

Fun time here this past Friday for a TGIF Concerts in the parks. We enjoyed the Pine Mountain Logs. They covered a lot of different genres and sounded great. There was plenty of space for people to park and at the high school across the street. I believe they are going to host another one next weekend. It was a blast!
