I rarely, if ever, write negative reviews for small businesses, but this has really irked me. I dropped my iPhone off around 3 PM. My rear camera was not working correctly, and I was hoping to have my battery replaced. I was told that they didnât have a battery for my phone in stock, but that they could run a âdiagnosticâ on my camera to identify the issue. I agreed that the camera was more of a priority than the battery, and left my phone with them. Because they were busy, they suggested I come back around 6. I volunteered to come back at 7 (when they closed) to give them extra time, but strongly urged them call my wifeâs phone with any updates, so I would know what the problem was and if it could be resolved (obviously, I would not have my phone with me, since I had left it with them).
At around 6:50, after not hearing from the store and wondering about my phone, I called only to be placed on hold (which oddly requires that you press # every 15 seconds to remain on hold). After 15 minutes, I concluded that they must have been closed, and that I would not have my phone for the night. Like most people living in this decade, not having a phone for most of an entire day is quite an inconvenience, particularly when I had been told I would receive at least some information that same day, and was expecting to have it back on way or another that evening.
The morning after, right on their opening, I called again, only to be placed on another long hold. I was told that a âsensorâ would be replaced, and that someone who was âreally goodâ was going to look at it, and be done within an hour. In retrospect, I realize that they probably hadnât even begun looking at my phone when I called. I begrudgingly agreed and again urged them to call my wife to let me know and confirm that my phone was fixed. I strongly receive the impression that my issue would be solved, despite only the vague language about a sensor.
2 and half hours after this phone call, after not receiving a phone call from them, I drove to the store to pick up my phone, concluding that I would pick it up regardless of if anything has been done.
When arriving, I was then told that they âdidnât have the cameraâ for my phone and absolutely nothing had been done, but they could order the part, and they handed me back my phone.
I truly believe that the âdiagnosticâ done on my phone was likely someone glancing at it for 15 seconds and concluding that the store did not stock any parts for my iPhone (which is 2 year old iPhone...). Although that in itself is frustrating, that I received no communication from them despite numerous efforts to call them and urge them to call me with updates, and that it took nearly 24 hours to conclude something that seemingly I could have been told in minutes (essentially: we canât help you, we donât stock any parts for your phone), particularly when (I am sure) everyone who works there is quite aware of what an inconvenience it is to be without a cell phone in 2020 for a full day, is absurd. If I had known that it would have taken more than a few hours to even assess the relatively minor issue with my phone, I certainly would have made other arrangements.
I absolutely will not have this store order the part that I allegedly need, nor would I trust that they would be able to install itâor, if they did install it, do that in even a remotely timely manner, or that that would resolve the issue.
I understand stores can be busy, but lack of communication when promising to do so and setting totally incorrect expectations is inexcusable, particularly when dealing with something that is quite obviously a significant inconvenience (not having your only phone for a day, during...

On 12/20/2020 I took my PS4 here because a few days prior I started having power issues. Iâd get a good 20-30 minutes of gameplay in and itâd just randomly turn off on me (I shall mention that my system is 7 years old; I had it for 3 years and it was my boyfriends that he ended up giving to me, no problems at all in the past). I also left my external hard drive so they could access my digital games to do their tests. They said they would run a diagnostic and call to update me when they run their tests.
I missed their call the night of 12/21 but I followed up the next morning. They told me they werenât experiencing any problems with games they tried such as Resident Evil 5 and 6, and I forget what other games they mentioned. So they asked which game I was experiencing the problem, I told them which game it was and they said they would check it out and let me know the next day because the game I was playing is online and open world, so chances were it was a heat problem of some sort.
I happened to call them on Christmas Eve just out of curiosity if they figured it out; I was told they were not experiencing any power off problems or overheating whatsoever, so I figured okay maybe it was just a weird thing that happened and now itâs okay. Went to pick it up right after I got out of work. Only to bring it home, and IT DOES NOT TURN ON!!! I only managed to turn it on ONCE and also realized that now all of a sudden my external hard drive cannot connect either. However, I shall mention that itâs only my PS4 that it cannot connect to, it works perfectly fine on my boyfriendâs system.
Anyways, it was such a complete let down visiting this place, I thought they would help but instead now my system does not turn on. Friends and family say I should call or go back and demand they look again but honestly why should I? I already got let down once, hell my system is in worse of a state than it was to begin with because it wonât turn on at all now Iâve been trying for days. Why would I go back?? Why stress myself out even more?
I want to point out, however, that I did not have any problems with the staff at all; everyone I spoke to was very nice, not rude or unprofessional. Although they promise a free diagnostic and I did not have to pay for anything, I was still very upset that my system could not be fixed at all, and it was given back to me in a worse state than how it was when I originally brought it to the store.    Read moreI would not recommend you do business with this location. They are disorganized, and are not honest. I called this location to repair an Xbox that was overheating. Even though I called the local number a call center answered, and did not identify themselves as a call center and provided me with this information. Bring in your Xbox at 2pm, we will diagnose the problem in a few hours and repairs can be done in 24 hours. As per instructions I showed up at 2pm with my Xbox, where I was then informed, the diagnosis would take 24 hours and the repair would take a week. This should have set off a red flag, as one week is much longer than the 24 hours i was told on the phone, but I was already there, so I left my Xbox. The following morning, I received a phone call saying the repair would be 100 dollars and the caller asked when I would be bringing my Xbox in for service. I replied, it is already there. How did she not know it was there, how did she know it would be 100 dollars? I then asked if you have not looked at it, how do you know it will be 99 dollars. She said whatever it is, it will be 99 dollars to fix. I asked when the diagnosis would happen, she was unsure. After not hearing anything for 4 more days I called again to check on the status. I was then told , they are waiting for parts, and the repair would now be 149.00... 50 dollars more than originally quoted. After pointing this out, I was told ok, we can do it for 99. I asked again, has anyone opened up my Xbox and diagnosed the problem. And the answer was no. At this point this company had my Xbox for 6 days, quoted me two prices and had not even looked at what the issue was.. On the 7th day, I came in and picked up my Xbox, it had not been serviced or even diagnosed. I wasted a week of time with this business. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business to anyone. They are dishonest about pricing, they are dishonest about time, they do not do what they say they will and seemed very unempathetic while dealing with me as a customer.
