The Residences at Carmel City Center — Local services in Carmel

I've lived here for 11 months. The apartments are beautiful, well maintained and spacious, but the staff is beyond incompetent. They're nice on the surface, but incompetent in any complication. Ebony, one of the leasing agents, somehow failed to make sure the apartment was ready at my move-in date. Luckily, I was local and had options, but it was a major inconvenience to wait another 2 weeks to take possession of the unit. On the following move-in date, no one was in the leasing office at our scheduled time. I waited for nearly an hour and Ebony gave a poor excuse which was an obvious lie. This was just the beginning. She then revised the contract move-in date and tried to slip in extra fees-- which I luckily caught. They enter your apartment with less than 24 hours' notice frequently for trivial reasons: ex. inspecting the fridge water filter. They're slow to respond to major issues like water leaks. The maintenance people are great, but the leasing agents and manager (Mollie) wait as long as possible to notify them. They're basically there to collect a check, otherwise they don't care. And if THEY make a mistake on processing your rent payment, they try to stick YOU with fees. It's a shame. Beautiful apartments in a great location, but they are beyond incompetent. I love the unit, but will not be renewing specifically because of Ebony and Mollie. For how much these apartments cost, they could afford to hire someone with at least a semblance of professionalism...

This is a great place to live, it is very quiet, me and my grandma have lived here for about 8 years now, The maintenance people here are great, Matt, and Christian as well is a very great maintenance person. They both help you with whatever is needed, And they always try to get to your apartment as soon as they can. I would say out of the seven years we have lived here, the only issue I’ve ever really had that definitely could be prevented is the parking, If you want a parking spot assigned to you that is not a public parking spot, you have to then pay $130.00 For parking inside the gate, and $100 for parking outside of the gate. And the only other thing I would say that is a little bit frustrating at times is the assistance’s in the front office, there are a lot of times where the assistance’s constantly get let go from the company, and then there are constantly new assistance’s that come in, but unfortunately, those new Assistance’s that come in to work for that job position, do not know much about the apartments or how the apartment complex works. But aside from that, this is a wonderful complex and I would highly recommend moving into this complex whether that be for someone that is looking for a new place to live, Or even if someone is looking for a temporary place to live. It’s now over 6 years living here at The Residences and we are still extremely pleased. Everything we said back in 2022, we continue to say. It has been enjoyable to see the growth of City Center and the surrounding area. The Monon has grown more beautiful with improvements that makes our walking even more pleasurable. Activities abound, all year around. Plenty to see and do. The way The Residences are described on the website is accurate. The entire staff is friendly and always helpful, ready to assist. Our amenities center is fantastic! There's a large room for parties and gatherings, a golf simulator room, a big screen theater room for movies and sports, a conference room, and workout room. If you’re looking to make a change, we highly recommend The Residences at Carmel City Center. Best in Carmel!

2022 We have lived here at the Residences at Carmel City Center for 4 years. They are the place to be! We are close to everything, Carmel. A short 10 minute walk on the Monon, stopping at Midtown and then on to downtown, Main Street. There's access to a variety of restaurants, shops, and activities. We have the Arts with the Palladium and Civic Theater. Social activities in open concerts, holiday celebrations, marathons, and more. The staff here at the Residences are by far the best.
