If I could rate our experience 10 out of 5 stars I would. We traveled almost 3 hours to get our truck and it was THE BEST experience I have had in a dealership.
We were ready to buy and have been. We talked to multiple dealers and salesmen within 500 miles of where we lived. Unfortunately a majority of them really didn’t want to help over the phone. Didn’t want to send us information or anything without us being in person (keep in mind we were shopping within 500 miles of where we live).
Called the Jansen at the end of the work day throwing a Hail Mary on trying to get information on our vehicle we were interested in. Skylar answered the phone in a polite and helpful manner and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. He was very knowledgeable on their products but if he did not know something he would find the answer. He even was happy to send photos and videos of the interior, exterior and under carriage of the vehicle.
One thing about Skylar is that he is not your “typical salesman”, he genuinely wanted to help. He went above and beyond and even followed up with us on his day off. There was some bad storms that came through our area and his and he voluntarily pulled our vehicle into their service bay to avoid any potential hail damage. He is the example of what a salesperson should be.
Can’t say enough good things about Skylar and his team. When we are in the market again 1st stop we are making is with Skylar at Jansen.
Anyone looking, we will recommend them to go work with Skylar at Jansen.

   Read moreWhat a poor experience! I would give less than one star if allowed. The online photos of the vehicle where taken to insure the rust and gouges in the paint would not be seen. Prior to arrival, the salesman assured me the vehicle was sound and the truck would be sent through service to insure there where no problems with the truck. After a 2 1/2 hour drive to Jansen Ford, I arrived and immediately noticed all of the blemishes on the body and interior not shown in the online photos, exhaust pipe was broke off after the muffler. After a short test drive, the oil light and check engine light was on, left front wheel shook while driving and considerably more under braking. Typically I would understand that buying a 14 year old truck will have some concerns. My problem was asking 3k more than perfect condition retail for less than moderate truck. Reputable Ford dealer, no way! Jansen ford in my experience is more like the car lot that is there one day and gone the next.    Read moreI have no issue with our sales person that we had. He done a great job in finding the truck i needed for what i do. But their service dept is a freaking joke. I have owned my truck for a lil over 2 months now and has been back to them 4 times. I have put 460 miles on it and they have put almost 1500 miles on it. Every time they get my truck it is full. All but 1 time I got it back it is either empty or almost empty!I've had it at my house a total of 10 days. The 3rd time I had an issue I asked to speak to Denton who I'm assuming is the manager, I honestly don't know who is running that place. Any time I asked for him he will never answer my call or return it And was sent straight to the service dept that could careless to speak to me. It is a gmc & I understand they're a ford dealer. But they had to take my truck to their Chevy dealership in Germantown IL to be fixed 2 differenttimes now. I've done talked to my lawyer & told her I've got my truck back. She informed me if it screws up again there will be legal matters taken...
