Heritage Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in Carol Stream

The stores in this mall are useful and I visit a few of them regularly, particularly Jewel-Osco. But the parking lot is awful. Combine that with people who believe that the lines on the pavements and the red-octagonal signs are merely suggestions, and you have a disaster waiting to happen!

The businesses on the periphery of the mall's lot are difficult to get to due to the way the driveway is structured.

There are not enough bike-racks or means/places to lock a bike at this mall, either. In fact, employees of a few stores are quite snippy if you try to lock your bike to the benches or trash-cans. I understand their point of view but no one could direct me to where the bike-rack...

I do not like the evolution of Jeritage Plaza. As a long time resident and customer of these stores I am concerned. Putting a daycare up in a heavily trafficked area puts the kids at risk. Also having them breath McDonald's and Burger King all day can't be good long term. It's as if any town USA just puked out some stores fast food places banks and kids. Carol Stream should do better. I can not name one good restaurant in the whole damn town that is...

Stop hiring special needs and odd people as baggers. I swear they put 1 to 2 items in a bag on purpose. One bagger looked at my brownies and went "mmm those look really good. They just look so moist" Do you just hire people for the sake of hiring them or do you at least talk to them first? Aside from the bathrooms having a 50% chance of smelling like straight piss, the baggers are the sole reason I don't like...
