Taco Pros Carol Stream — Restaurant in Carol Stream

I rarely give places bad reviews but unfortunately this one deserves it. Ordered from here twice. First time we came early from the time stated and wound up waiting 15 mins. Ordered a burrito that would have been a mini-burrito at any other taco joint. I mean it was pathetically small for the price.

Ok fine we learned our lesson - ordered last night and came exactly on time for our order pickup - it was ready - but also ice cold by the time we got it home. It must have been sitting there a while. We live only about 2 miles away so the ride home was 5 mins tops.

Besides that the tacos barely had any meat in them. Both times I was actually still hungry after eating.

Which brings me to my biggest gripe - the portion of rice and beans. It's a $4 up charge to add rice and beans. And it's literally a couple of tablespoons of each. Cmon guys it's rice and beans if you are gonna charge $4 to add it to my meal it better be a decent size portion.

Don’t bother until they have their ducks in a row. I understand they’re a new business, but the experience was full of issues. My friend ordered a bowl with steak and was given ground beef—and halfway through eating, she found a food label in her meal. I ordered the enchilada dinner, and we both got fountain drinks. The staff repeated the order and said, “enchilada dinner with fries”—I never asked for fries or would’ve thought to order them.

The tap-to-pay system wasn’t working, and both employees just stood there looking confused. I ended up using my credit card just to avoid the awkwardness. After paying, I asked for our fountain drinks and was told the machine wasn’t working, so we had to grab bottled drinks instead.

We sat at a table to wait, and the food came out in a carry-out bag—no one even asked if we were dining in or taking it to go. I get that they’re still getting started, but there are major issues with both customer service and operations that need to...

I went yesterday and got nacho cheese fries with steak only. I asked for extra nachos cheese. What I received was extra shredded cheese they put almost a cup of shredded cheese on the fries instead of nacho cheese, and the little amount of steak that was put on the fries was dried out, and tough must have been cooked since they opened. Besides I went around 5:00. I also ordered a 3 taco dinner. The steak was also dried out and tough and put too much cheese on that also it's like they saving the meat This is my second time going to this restaurant they messed up my the first time I went. I just assumed that since it was the first week of them opening and they was were crowded, but yesterday, no one was in there when we went. I...
