Burger King — Restaurant in Carol Stream

I came to this BK drive-thru around 7:30pm, 11/14/2021. And I tried to order the 2 for $6 and order 2 Whoppers w/cheese, 1 original chicken sandwich w/cheese, 1 Big Fish sandwich w/cheese, then drove to the 2nd window and the managers says to wait up front and they'll bring you your order, then drove my vehicle near the front entrance and literally less than 1 minute later they bring out my food. I know immediately it wasn't made FRESH because I used to work at BK for when I was a teenager and it takes around 3 minutes for the beef to be flame broiled, and 3 minutes in the oil fryer for the chicken and fish sandwiches. And the second remake of my order I timed the manager and he had everything remade within 1 minute and 36 seconds which is impossible to make 4 sandwiches FRESHLY made in that time frame. I came home and attempted to eat my food but couldn't, because it tasted old and stale not FRESH. The staff can't even handle simple instructions and dishonest. Please Burger King stop hiring incompetent people. Beware of this place people.

Update 11/18/2021: I filed a complaint against this Burger King and then the manager who I had a problem with calls me to resolve the issue, the culprit doesn't get to call me, it doesn't work that way. Then I left a message with a worker at BK district office but the district manager NEVER even called me back. The district managers and store managers are working together to keep their jobs at BK. No wonder why this place or other BK's in Illinois can never get 5 stars for decades!! Nothing was resolved with my issue on Sunday, 11/14/2021. You have corrupt and incompetent people working at BK, and I totally wasted my money that day. People do not spend your hard earned...

The food was good, let's start there. I'll happily order again. But there were several minor problems with the ordering process.

First, the restaurant (inside) was fully closed so everyone had to go through drive thru. But only 1 of 2 drive thru lanes was open. Fine, maybe they're understaffed.

The order taker ignored my request for spicy chicken sandwich. I noticed when she gave me the receipt, so the food handler was able to correct it. She also upgraded both sandwiches to deluxe (adds lettuce and tomato), but only one of them was actually made as a deluxe. Ok, I guess, since we didn't order deluxe in the first place ... But there's no consistency here.

This location doesn't participate in BK's app ordering or points earning, which is disappointing. You can redeem coupons from the app at least.

All told, the wait (at peak busyness during Saturday lunch) was 15+ minutes. Again, the food was fresh and tasted great, but it could've been a...

The manager at this location has terrible customer relation skills. I made an order thru my phone app and 2 of my burgers were missing ingredients. I brought them back to the manager he agreed and took them both to the kitchen to get corrected. After receiving them back one of the burgers was still missing and ingredient. I took out back to the manager again and he told me that the reason they didn’t corrected it was because I didn’t tell him the first time it was missing the ingredient. I am 100 percent sure I did tell him it was missing the bacon and cheese. He even looked at the screen and said it was missing both ingredients and resorted to calling me a liar. He said I only told him it was missing bacon. I then asked him to give me a new burger made the way I wanted because that one got cold and was handled so much by the employees. He refused and gave me the same one. I asked for a refund and accused me, while raising his voice, of lying...
