Blue Reef — Local services in Carolina Beach

Recently visited with my mom and sisters looking for a bathing suit and beach towel. We are all African-American women. No one came to help, seemed to be purposely avoided. We were in the store for a total of 15 mins while I looked for a bathing suit having to assist myself with getting things down off of the wall. Meanwhile, one of the employees us following my mother around the store while she looks for other accessories for the beach. Still no help. By now we’re at the dressing room and the lady follows my mother to us. She still did not address us, I can see my mom is feeling uncomfortable. Upon their actions I decided to not purchase ANYTHING from there and I would recommend anyone that does not want to be racially profiled to avoid this place...

Forgot my hat at home during our family beach trip, so we swing in thinking "No biggie, it's really close to where we're staying." Then I touched my hand on the most expensive hat I've ever seen for what it was. 34.99 Out of curiosity I browsed the store just a looking and realized pretty quick their prices are higher than a van at a Willie Nelson concert. So we did the right thing and went 10min down the road and hit a Walmart for the same hat for 5 bucks. But the workers seemed friendly. One fella working almost said "Hi" as we walked in, and one lady made eye contact for about 2 seconds untill I dishonored her ancestors somehow as she turned away fast. Oh, they also have about 87 hermit crabs there in one shoebox cage if you're into that...

Beware – Selling Counterfeit Labubus Products

I purchased what I thought was a genuine Labubus product from this business, but what I received was clearly a counterfeit. The packaging, quality, and design were all off, and it didn’t perform like the authentic item. I’ve since verified with the manufacturer that this is not a legitimate product. It’s disappointing and concerning that a business would engage in selling knockoffs. Buyers, be careful — I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you want to risk getting scammed.
