Update: Felix (the only manager we are ever able to talk to) is no help. We were over charged for our membership, and have made MULTIPLE attempts to get a refund for the over charge. We have made simple requests to Felix to help us get a receipt of a refund he said he issued to us for an over payment and itâs been a whole month. No proof of refund, no refund to our card. All he can tell us is âit says on our end it has been refundedâ He has done nothing to help us. So frustrating dealing with the staff here, safe your money. Horrible environment to workout in.
These people make it so hard for you to cancel your membership once you sign up and they over charge you when ever they want. The management here do not help you with your account. None of the staff ever know anything. We were told we have to get on a waitlist to cancel, it's 11/21 and we can't get an appointment to cancel until the middle of January. We told the manager we are moving and won't be here in January, and even had our flights to prove it and he still didn't care and wouldn't cancel our membership. The manager was very disrespectful and unhelpful, how hard is it to go in your computer and cancel a membership?. We also had random charges this month of $60 and when we asked the front desk what they were for they couldn't help us. We had to call a number to find out why we were being over charged. We were also told that if you cancel, you can not continue to go the the gym for the remainder of the month you paid for. This is the worst crunch I have ever been too, you pay for harassment and disrespect....
Read moreOk...I switched from Planet Fitness in Los Colobos to Crunch Carolina. So far, I am VERY UNIMPRESSED. The staff is rude. I entered for my first day there and I want just handed my card and that was it. I had to ask where the locker rooms, where the various types of equipment is located and when I asked about classes, He told me "Ah, just take a photo of the list. It's never right, but it is something." I actually had to interrupt one employee on her cell phone to ask to use the hydro massage. Seriously?! Today I went back for my second day. Google lists it as opening at 7 AM on Sunday. Show up, wait until 7:20 when the employee shows up. Says they open at 8 AM. I am now curious to see if this is even a 24 hr gym (sign on the door and Google are completely different) Ahh, the bathrooms need serious attention. I've never seen so many cleaning staff pretending to work. I would assume the owner is unaware of the issues...Atleast, I hope. Besides THAT...There are plenty of cardio machines, bbn ice free weights section, machine section and a great crossfit area. I am hoping to take classes as the facility for that is nice. Still waiting to confirm the classes. Hoping the staff issues...
Read moreElevator hasn't worked for a few months now, leaving people with injuries unable to work out as all cardio equipment and classes are on the second floor. Group classes are also on the second floor and the sound system is completely horrible, seems like they just dont want to spend the money and invest in the paying customers they do have. And if you wanna cancel you have to make an appointment which its usually 2 months out. We pay an annual fee even if month to month which is a higher rate, as I understand annual fees are for contracted members, I feel that if you are not contracted for a year we shouldn't be forced to pay an annual fee the first month you sign up... what if the person doesn't stay the year, do the give the money back?! This franchise doesn't seem to be customer oriented, they have a lot to learn still. Not having a working elevator for HANDICAP people who may want to excercise its illegal. There MUST be handicap accessibility and all they say is they are working on it. I do NOT recommend them... at least... not...
