I bought a couch from Natuzzi and purchased the stain protection plan from Serveco. Very unhappy their service. Stay away. Would never purchase again.
The couch we purchased from Natuzzi had a microfibre fabric which was supposed to be their most stain resistant fabric. This was reiterated to us from the sales team and an important aspect of our decision. We also purchased the fabric warranty from Natuzzi through their partner Serveco. We were told that this would cover all stains up to 5yrs and they would come out and address any issues within 30 days.
This is where the problems began.
We received the couch at the end of December. The microfibre stains easily. It also is a magnet for picking up hair, showing dust, etc. I can deal with those issues but the staining is a real problem. Drop a crumb on the couch and try to wipe it and you end up with a blotch. We tried to clean this with a damp paper towel and that left a small ring.
So, we put in a service request and were told that they would not accept the request without a contract number.
That led us to a 6wk process of going back and forth with Natuzzi sales rep and Serveco to try and get a copy of our contract. Serveco stated that is should have been handed to us on delivery and they cannot help any further. Natuzzi stated that the did not know what contract that Serveco was referring to. I have countless emails back and forth and phonecalls until I told the Natuzzi rep that I was going to write a bad review unless I got a response. I was then finally sent a contract from Serveco on Feb 28.
I was then told by Serveco that they would not fix the issue because as stated in the contract (the one I never received) I was supposed to clean the stain with a clean DRY cloth and I used a clean DAMP cloth. So, the claim is not allowed.
To be clear, Serveco states that they cover all stains including Liquid marks, rings, or household heat marks. So, if I spilled water on the couch that would be covered but because I used a damp cloth to wipe up a stain it is not covered.
When the supervisor from Serveco called me today to explain why they were not covering the stain, I called out that I had another stain on a different part of the couch and would submit that as a ticket. She then informed me that that would be an accumulated stain and that was not covered. How they determine a regular stain vs. an accumulated stain is beyond me.
This is a terrible service company going to ridiculous lengths when they simply could send somebody over to take care of the stain. I paid $800 for that contract and close to 15K overall for the couch.
Serveco - you provide terrible service. It's just like a scene out of a movie where an insurance company makes the process of getting a claim approved so incredibly frustrating that the consumer...
Read moreDo NOT get any type of warranty through this company or deal with them. They are dishonest and will take your money!
I purchased furniture from Harlem Furniture on 7/19/25. It was a bedroom set, dresser and 2 night stands. It was delivered on 8/14/25 and one of the night stands was damaged/defective. The top drawer didn't open more than 50% and the outer frame of the night stand had separation (see pictures attached).
I opened a claim on 8/19/25 and was told I'd be contacted in 2 days. Never heard back. I called again on 8/22/25 and was told that the claim was being reviewed by a "supervising technician" and would be contacted in 2 days. No response. I called again on 8/28/25 and was told, yet again, that a supervising technician was reviewing the case.
I called again on 9/5/25 and spoke with the same gentleman that I spoke with numerous times before (Allen) who was kind and apologetic. He spoke with his supervisor and said that they requested a a replacement for the nightstand because it was delivered defective and unusable. He requested a replacement from Ashley's furniture and told me to follow back up on that Wednesday if I didn't hear back.
I called again on 9/12/25 and spoke to Allen again and asked to speak to his supervisor, Ashley. I spoke with her and she said a RA (return authorization) was sent on the 8th but no response from Harlem/Ashley furniture. She said that the lady responsible for the RA went home sick early that day but said she would speak with her on Monday (9/15/25) and even said "I wrote it on a sticky note to get in touch with you on Monday." Guess what? Never happened.
Once again I called today, 9/18/25, and spoke with Trish/Tricia (hard to hear her name) who said she was a supervisor. I told her that ever since I opened the claim nothing had been done and she kept cutting me off saying "that isn't true". I then told her that I have been the one who's called now six times and not one has anyone from ServeCo called me with an update of any kind. She said that they requested a replacement from Ashley/Harlem but that the manufacturer wasn't responding and ignoring their request. I was very frustrated at both the situation and her tone because she did not offer any type of empathy or compassion so yes, I did hang up.
This company is absolutely fraudulent. I'm now stuck with a broken non-functioning nightstand and will have no choice but to file a claim with the BBB against both ServeCo as well as Harlem/Ashley furniture. Buyer beware! You get what you pay for with these cheap nickel and...
Read moreThis company is an absolute scam. I got the 5 year extended warranty through La-Z-Boy for my couch with electric recliners. One of the recliners ended up with some damage and I went to file a claim. I've been dealing with ServeCo for over 2 months before they finally decided to order some random part without even inspecting the damage themselves. They ordered the completely wrong part, ignore every single message I send them and keep flip flopping on when they can send a technician to try and install the incorrect part on my couch that wont even fix the damage. Luckily La-Z-Boy was understanding and offered to replace the entire unit at no extra charge to me so I no longer have to deal with ServeCo.
ServeCo essentially stole about $1000 from me, is so incompetent that they can't even order the correct parts to fix an issue. Took me telling them I was about to contact my lawyer about bad faith before they even "tried" to fix it. If it wasn't for La-Z-Boy replacing the unit themselves I would be starting a law suit against this company for negligence and bad faith.
This company is a total scam, DO NOT EVER purchase a "warranty" from them as it is a complete waste of money. Don't just take my word for it, look up the hundreds of other reviews on every single other site. This company needs to be shut down.
Edit: You're response just goes to show you never even read my messages or listened to me on the phone. What you ordered was not the part needed to fix the couch. If you actually sent someone out to my home to inspect the damage you would see that the metal inside the recliner is completely bend which causes the clips to pop off. So just replacing the clips will not fix them popping off. I stated that in my original request months ago but you ignored it. It should not take over 2 months and a threat to contact a lawyer for you to hold up your end of the issue.
You should have sent someone out first thing to inspect the damage and order the correct parts, then when they arrive you send someone out to do the repair. Should take a couple weeks at most. If you want to regain my and many other peoples trust how about you actually hold up your end of the deal instead of making the process extremely difficult and constantly "delaying" fixes until people are forced to go to the original supplier for a solution or just stop trying to deal with your...
