Sunflower Mercantile — Local services in Carthage

I absolutely love this store/restaurant! This place is a sweet little gem found in Carthage's town square. They offer a quick bite for lunch, with old fashioned milkshakes and floats. The chicken salad is made in-house and is delicious! They are very kid friendly, and even have activities/toys for kids to play with while they wait on their food. Their store is filled with a little bit of everything, and definitely is the go to spot to find gifts! They have a huge selection and everything is reasonably priced. I'm looking forward...

We stopped in here after a less than welcoming experience at a store nearby (I'll never go back to that store). We were immediately greeted by an older gentleman that seemed genuinely happy to see us. We chatted with him a bit before making laps around the store and picking up multiple items to purchase, all of which were well priced and of good quality. We love the Sunflower Mercantile. They really care about their customers and their community, always looking for ways to make visiting their store more fun. Scott & Kelly say "it's all about the customer's experience", and they mean it. They are fully vested in downtown, and help make downtown Carthage a travel destination.
