I've consigned at the Cary Adore store since they opened and have always been EXTREMELY PLEASED! Like every other business they have rules and processes to follow and to operate a successful business those rules and processes need to be adhered to. I call ahead to make an appointment and have never ever had an issue. Do I like when they don't take a piece of my clothing....no, but I totally understand. If I'm told they will take a piece of clothing but to bring it back for the appropriate season I just hold on to it until that time. Stained, pilled, out of date or out of season clothing should not be brought in...period. It's a high end consignment store with limited space. I love the store and their staff and have had only good experiences with both consigning and buying there! Great place to buy and consign clothing, shoes...

I have never be treated this way when shopping for consignment clothing or any shopping I was there a few years ago and the merchandise is very nice. However, their people skills are terrible or I might say Thoughtless I heard it’s under new management that explains why I wasn’t treated like this before I had an emergency phone call. I did not see there were any signs about not using my phone I’m a founder of a nonprofit that deals with domestic violence and helps children through therapy. I had to take that call. She was standing there the owner talking to a customer, and I could hear them as if they were standing right next to me.
